"Weiden in der Oberpfalz" arriving after a rainshower at Hamburg, Germany.

The aircraft carries a special livery, showing a football on it's nose, in spirit of the Worldcup being held in Germany in 2006.

Note the reflections on the wet tarmac and the tyre's trails through the standing water, besides the jetblast behind the engines. If you look very closely you can even see through the bypass of the engines! I was lucky, too, to catch the flash of the beacon. A fave.

Watch out for the exhaust.

at the end of the runway at SXM

Hit by the jetblast and hot air-what more can you ask for ;-)

Young lady on the front seat and another one with the ground crew :-)

This has been in the middle off all the themes.

I don't really need to add any silly commentary. This was at the end of the runway at SXM. What did I do after taking this picture? I went up to the fence and hung on as a 747 took off.

This is a photo of a 1:542 scale model of CV-59 U.S.S. Forrestal Aircraft Carrier highly detailed w/ waterline finished not seen on photo. I took this pic at nightfall fully manual f5.6 1/15 ISO 200 w/ external flash unit on a 90 degree angle on a midnight blue background. The moon was just done by me in vector graphics, Adobe Illustrator.

An insert is a few seconds' earlier shot of the same WestJet 737-700 during landing roll on RW34 in Calgary ..

It was a spell of rainy weather that we had a couple of weeks ago. Arriving and departing aircraft were leaving a good deal of water spray caused by jet engine blast while on the RW. You can see the reverses' sleeves open.

Jeez!! Look at that jet blast! Departing Houston runway 15R for Amsterdam.

Ferrari 458 Italia Themed after F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Jet Fighter

At a first glance, it appears that there's nothing really special about this 458 Italia other than it's a new Ferrari and that it's covered in dark grey vinyl wrap. However,

take a closer look and things start to get interesting...

This Italian supercar was themed after the notorious F-117 Nighthawk stealth attack aircraft with the matte gray vinyl wrap incorporating a rivet-style design. Other

notable features include the rivet graphics on the window and windshield frames as well as numerous other aircraft-inspired labels such as the "Heater Exhaust", "Beware of Jetblast" and "Pull to Open" [door-handle] signs.
