Blink and you'll miss it...which I did. I saw this narrow opening just quickly as I looked West so obviously turned around for a couple of shots of this amazing entrance. Just looking at the cemetery...or is cemetary? (I've tried to research this as to if the spelling is year specific or not, but it seems there's nothing solid on the net in regards to that) it looked old...ancient even. Early 20's. The usual gravestones that stick out of the ground, aren't that numerous here. Might be a good thing? Not sure.
I didn't venture in for a closer look as my time was passing away (no pun intended...) due to a late departure on this trip.
What I did love is the obviously hand built frame, and obviously hand built and carved nameplate.
Like some places, there's not much information I can currently find (not like Patricia where they have the year they were established on a sign when you enter their hamlet) as to when this are was established. Obviously it was to do with the railway that used to run through this area, but no years I can find yet. Maybe I'll venture into the Cemetary on my next visit.
Reason I called it a "Dead Centre" was because that's what we always called them when I was a lad in the UK. And since the Cemetery/Cemetary spelling is still up for debate, "Dead Centre" seemed more accurate lol
