The Willys Jeep is a staple at reenactment displays during airshows, adding authenticity to World War II-themed setups. The Jeep Cherokee was sold by American Motors and later Chrysler from 1984 until 2001, This one has a 4.0 litre 6-cylinder engine and a lot of extra equipment for the urban jungle.
The Jeep FC (Forward Control) was produced from 1956 thru 1965. Just over 30,000 were made. In addition to the regular pickup bed, they were offered with a variety of utility beds such as dump trucks, fire trucks, tow trucks, and flatbeds.

Not really off roading, just usuing 4wd Low in the Trailhawk today.
Not many places nearby to really get it muddy.
Taken just after it had been through the car wash so it's pretty bug free! I took this picture in Whistler campground just outside Jasper. The car is actually a dark olive colour but you can't really see it post-processing.
When I photograph cars in the UK I always edit out the registration plate as a courtesy but, as cars in Alberta don't have a front plate, I didn't have to do that here.

The day after all the big rains, we decided to do an easier run. Here, we are following this sandy wash. As each Jeep passed, more and more water was squeezed out of the sand. It was becoming quick soft and quicksand-like. As you can see, I was only the 5th Jeep in line. There were 15 total Jeeps that day. People behind me had to travel a different line due to the softening of the sand.

En España lo conocimos porque lo llegó a fabricar Ebro pero con la calandra anterior, más Jeep. Ésta no fue muy acertada y obedecía a un intento de la AMC de lavarle la cara, modernizarlo, después de comprarle Jeep a Kaiser. Pero no surtió efecto. Perdió aún más mercado y poco duró con esta cara tan descafeinada.

Usually I photograph the back Jeep logo on my Jeep, but today I did the front one and it is reflecting all sorts of things in the garage. I rather like the effect.
Recently had a Jeep Specialist Company restore my 1981 Jeep CJ5. I originally bought this vehicle from a junkyard when I was only 19. With a lot of help from a High School friend, we got her on the road on a shoestring budget. I have a ton of history with this vehicle, including the days of meeting and dating W. It had not run in several years but those days are finally over. Pics taken near our house using HDR software to merge bracketed photos.
There is a 50 year gap between these tow Jeeps. The white on the left is an official set, No.330 from 1968, the grey is my latest MOC.
The white has some modifications that I made as a child, because I had no instructions.Cannot even remember if I ever had any other instruction than my brother showing me how to do it :o)
Although it is bricky and bulky, it has the right features of a Willys Jeep. I am curious how it would look in comparision if built in grey.
