29/365. A trip to Zellers today. I bought a pretty neat 50s light fixture out of the family diner last month and got the go ahead to pick it up today. It is going to look great in the kitchen.
March 14 will be the last you'll see this bright red sign lit up. Target bought up Zellers a couple years ago and will be replacing 135 of 279 Zellers stores with Target. Looks like Lethbridge has lost it's Zellers permanently and Target will not operate a new store at this location either.
as the clouds passed over the watery sun i noticed how large the sunspots was showing and i wondered did this or could this have an adverse effect on the weather conditions thats happening world wide at the moment any weathermen out there??

Man, what a great day of handcrafting at Maple Hoo! We did machine piecing and fabric cutting and Pookie timed how long it takes her to finish hand-piecing the strips from the 81-patches in Henrik Jane (3 hours, 1 minute, with dawdling) and I finished appliqueing the typewriter on the front of Pookie's iPad case. In the evening we had delicious pizza and wine and homemade bread made into homemade garlic bread with homegrown garlic, and we planned big plans for this year's garden, and generally just felt the warm, happy glow of newer, better life. In short, it was a good time.

The top (W) of the Proviso hump yard. The aftermath of the 1979 blizzard. That weekend 20" of snow fell atop a 7" base left over from a New Years Eve blizzard.
Isaac made this instrument out of legos as a school project. You take the long thin yellow peice and hit the projecting red peices. Eack one makes a different tone. I think he got the idea from this: www.flickr.com/photos/meaghancourtney/5279821259/
Summer sunset over Gawler, South Australia.
After Sunday dinner at Mum's, I went for a drive with my brother Joshua. We found a nice spot down near Gawler to watch the sun set, wasn't much of a sunset, actually wasn't that much of a great spot for taking photos.
But as always, it's what you as a photography make of the situation! Grovelling on my hands and knees by the roadside and shooting through a fence, I got a few shots of the sun setting behind oat grass.
