Another night where it seems I was very camera shutter-happy! I already have this Quiz dress in an off-the-shoulder style but it came up cheap on eBay in the short sleeved style and so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and buy it.
Wer hat an der Uhr gedreht, ist es wirklich schon so spät !? Saure-Gurken-Zeit für Fotoamateure, aber ein paar Motive findet man immer: hier die männlichen Blütenstände der Hasel (Corylus). Ziemlich früh in diesem Jahr !
Had to stop and grab this shot this morning. Interesting contrast with the moon setting and the sun rising. A must on "Black"
Sorry it's late guys!
The January issue of THAT, featuring one of the models in the running for THAT Look. And in honour of getting first place on the last challenge "VERSACE". Ivy Wells graces this months cover!

I've also decided to discontinue Beauty in THAT. As I'm barely keeping up to date with these main covers, never mind the Beauty covers on top. So from this year they will no longer continue.
I hope you guys like it! :D

...a date burned indelibly into my memory. Can't believe it's been 25 years. I remember it like it was yesterday. My fourth hour freshman algebra class had just started. Mr. Barker was joking around trying to keep our attention focused on the board. Suddenly, Mr. Hall ran into the room with the most wild eyed look I had ever seen. "The space shuttle just exploded!" We all looked at each other and smiled, even laughed. Mr. Hall was such a practical joker after all. He's kidding, right? Then came an announcement over the PA. "Space Shuttle Challenger has just exploded upon liftoff. All seven astronauts are presumed dead. School is canceled for the rest of the day. Please remain calm and exit the building in an orderly fashion." Stunned silence. My friends and I stood in front of the big screen TV in the school library for a few minutes refusing to believe. Then we walked home with our heads hung low.
My best friend and I were science nerds. We took all the elective science courses, built our own rockets, and followed the space program religiously. We had watched the first shuttle launch together in elementary school. We knew all the astronauts names and backgrounds. We dreamed of someday going into space together. We knew there was going to be a launch that day. Space flight had become almost routine, but we were still so excited about it.
We rushed back to my house. Grandma already had the TV on and was making lunch for us. My friend called his mom to let her know where he was. We just sat there in front of the TV for hours talking about what this meant for the future of our country. We were crushed.
The picture doesn't really have anything to do with this. I just needed to post something today. I thought a beautiful cold winter scene was appropriate. This is in memory of the Challenger 7. Some of my heroes. You will never be forgotten.

I enjoy all the individual perspectives on how photographers
view and shoot their images, and how, over time we all seem to adapt styles and make them our own.
I also, enjoy reading the ABOUT section on people's galleries, describing their love and interest of photography, all written uniquely in their 'own' chosen words. It's very interesting to see what makes the different artists 'click'.
