Another planar endomorphism.

Tried to play around with layers and distortion but it took away from the main focus of the images which is the people and the memories that accompany the photos. I feel like I could work with distortion but on a smaller scale. I thought that polarising some of the distorting to add dimension but it took away from the images and didn't have the effect I wanted. But hey its progress, I'm going to continue sections of this trial in my future images. Also my mum likes this one.

Iteration 2.

Iterative texture

So I've been on a short and fruitless quest for a simple device to generate random sequences to control about 20 quad bilateral switches. (or 80 0's and or 1's) I pondered a white noise generator feeding a s/h to generate random voltages to trigger window comparators. That idea lasted 10 seconds.

Moved on to decade counters with complex clock stopping timers dividing out to banks of gates and finally the CD4066's I'm trying to switch. I may look into finally using my arduino. But in the end, I'm just not sure how this will play out. That is only one single stage of the project that is beginning to seem futile and overcomplexified.

How else can I get groups of random bits to slowly flow in and out totaling 80 switches? Well, I've just started at the drawing board.

Design iteration is utilized in early concept design and story telling of 3D animation. Storyboards are created to explore and refine elements within a concept or story and can become more complex in forms of “animatics” which are 3D simple environments with basic models to portray the overall idea. The outcome of these repeated iterations is a detailed and well-developed 3D animation.

Iteration or repetition of a subject makes for good composition. Look for a repeating pattern today and make a photo.

In the development of a board game, like the one shown in the photo, Race for the Galaxy, iteration is a necessary part of design. To test the mechanics of a game, a simple prototype with easily altered parts is played many times. Often, designers will use cheap playing cards with home printed card information adhered to them. That gives them greater strength than typical printing paper, and they are not as hard to cut as cardstock. With each play through of the game, it can be updated with a simple reprint when a mechanic doesn't work or a better solution exists.
