In the upper right is the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine Van being driven by Shaggy with the namesake dog as his passenger from Burger King 1996.

Below the van is the 1996 Burger King Quasimodo from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame both in and out of the plastic he came in.

Top middle is a X-Men Phantasia vs. Storm 1995 set (with a collectible card on the other side) from Hardees though I think I must have picked this up from Carl's Jr who they often partner up with as I've never been in a Hardees.

Below those girls, in the middle is a 1993 Mickey Mouse watch from the Disney Store. It can be seen in close-up in the picture before the previous one.

Top right shows a Simpsons Halloween Treehouse of Horror Creepy Classics Burger King Kids Meal toy from October 2002. This one is Professor Frink (a.k.a. Invisible Man) which can be seen out of his plastic wrap here (I have more of these somewhere in different characters).

Mulan McDonald's Burger Toys of Mulan and Khan the horse in the lower right. These can be seen a little better in the previous picture (though Mulan looks pretty good here as the writing on the bag makes it hard to see the figures inside) along with a deck of Mulan playing cards.

Other "Kid's Meal Toys" here.

More Disney Excitement here.

Additional Simpsons "stuff" here. :D

All these (and more) need new homes as I'm going to a different country for an extended stay soon so send me a Flickr Mail message (access through the arrow that appears near my profile photo when mousing over it) if interested.

The Liverpool Echo is looking for photographs inspired by Beatles songs, as follows:

"The ECHO is asking readers to help us assemble a very special gallery of photos inspired by the world's most influential band.

In The Beatles Songbook, we want to see your photos and artwork inspired by - or reflecting - the songs of the Fab Four.

It can be as obvious or as abstract as you like and refer to one of the band's best known singles or a B-side or album track.

The more creative the better! We have included some examples (in the link above) to give you an idea of how to match up a song title with an image.

So if you've pictured yourself on a boat on a river or snapped her standing there, why not send it to us? All submitted images must be your own work."

This is my effort based on Nowhere Man. Most probably it would have been easier to do something like this using Photoshop or similar, but I try to avoid that side of things where I can, so no digital effects were used at all.

Here's a closeup of my Invisible Man model . Notice the photo of Claude Rains I added to the table as a tribute to the great actor who played the vanishing Dr. Griffin

I read the book many years ago and some strange Karma led me to do a modest photo shoot on Ellison. The book was groundbreaking back in 1952 (although some parts had been published a few years earlier) and tells of how one can get easily overlooked - or ignored - in this society, which can lead to alienation and despair. Racial conflict and other sensitive issues were candidly addressed in the novel, which still makes for excellent reading.

RC Sherriff’s magnificent anti-war play, Journey’s End, recently enjoyed a well-deserved revival in London’s West End. Having been knocked sideways by the play, I realised I knew little about this English playwright – so I was interested to discover that he was born in Hampton Wick, just a couple of miles from where I live.

So I took myself off to 2 Seymour Road, to photograph his birthplace. And this is what I found – sadly, Sherriff’s own Journey’s End.

Born in 1896, he was badly wounded at Passchendaele in 1917, and was awarded the Military Cross. Journey’s End, which he wrote in 1928, is directly based on his war experience... little wonder, then, that it’s such a powerful, impassioned, deeply moving piece of work.

As well as plays, Sherriff also wrote poetry, novels and screenplays – not least The Dam Busters, The Invisible Man and Goodbye, Mr Chips. He died in 1975… and his birthplace died in 2011.

One of my old scans,i was lucky to see both shows, the excellent `Invisible Man`which ran for 4 months at he Vaudeville Theatre in between runs of `An Evening With Gary Lineker` The Invisible Man" holds the world record for the most effects in one show and it was amazing!!Ennio marchetto is an Italian comedic live entertainer whose performances feature quick-change artistry, impersonations and his trademark bi-dimensional paper costumes. The Whitehall Theatre was renamed the Trafalgar Studios in 2004..

Featuring Kurhn White Snake Fairy Princess/Goddess on far right. I find it interesting to compare various depictions of characters inspired by popular culture from different countries and/or inspired by folklore references. I leave the decision making up to the viewer, as to which company carries out a cultural or folk reference best. Monstrosity High et al. Omnidoll 2014
