Herbert George Wells (1866-1946) was a prolific English writer and socialist reformer who is often called “the father of science fiction”. His influential works, including The Time Machine (1895), The Invisible Man (1897), and The War of the Worlds (1898), are considered early and classic examples of the genre.
Wells's writing also predicted technological innovations like the atomic bomb, space travel, and automatic doors.
REDO! Some of you might recognize this picture, well I did a little bit more to change the character and textures so yeah, here! Into thin air...

Queen - The Invisible Man
Real Name: Lloyd Ventrix
Occupation: Criminal
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11
Weight: 179lbs (81kg)
Lloyd Ventrix was a robber who was arrested, and his ex-wife Helen had a restraining order issued. He wasn't allowed within one-hundred feet of either her or his daughter Kimberly. Ventrix, however, very much loved Kimberly and felt he answered to a higher power than the law, and as such was not going to let a piece of paper stop him.
After being paroled and finding work with Sam Giddell as an errand boy, Ventrix stole samples of an experimental plastic, which bent light instead of absorbing it when an electrical current was applied to it. While the material was able to make the plastic invisible, one of its flaws was that it was toxic to both the mind and body. Ventrix fashioned a full-body suit out of the material, and used it to acquire both the means to steal anything without detection and the ability to visit his daughter without being caught. Using the name "Mojo", Ventrix became Kimberly's "invisible friend".
I'd love to hear what you think,
Invisible Man is a novel by Ralph Ellison, published in 1952. It addresses many of the social and intellectual issues faced by the African Americans in the early twentieth century and yet in 2020, nothing has changed.

This is the 25th entry for my 52 weeks project here on Flickr. I can't believe it! Next week it's been half a year already!
I guess you’re probably glad you don't have to see my mug for a change. I know that this has already been done a million times. I know that it lacks my typical sense of humor. But I wanted to do this shot so badly from the very beginning of this project and right now I feel like I'm finally up to the challenge. So this is more like a technical demo, a test for myself if I can pull this off convincingly. It is my most complex photo manipulation so far, composed of 7 different images that took me 2 hours to shoot and about 3 hours to edit. I've added some notes to the image so you can see where the single components were added. Enjoy!
Please press "L" to see the full hollow body!
Camera info: ISO 400, 36 mm, f/9,0, 1/200 Sek.

Day Twenty-Three
I'll show you who I am. And what I am. I'm empty. There's nothing to me. I'm just a hollow of nothingness with no substance. When you say you can see right through me you don't realise how right you are. Which does lead to a perplexing question. If I'm not here then do I exist?
You can't see me. I can't see me. There is a freedom to that. I can go where I want. See what I please. Take it all and no one will ever find me. At least not on purpose. If you can't see me, you can't avoid me, you'll walk all over me in the most literal sense. So I then do exist.
I could take it all but it all can be seen. And if it can be seen then it can be taken back. The only thing that could truly be taken by the invisible is something intangible. Something you can hold but not in your hands. You can't see unless it's deathly cold. Something you can't live without.
I could take your breath away.
I AM the invisible man
and I'm weary of this game
I'm on the brink of insane
only me to feel this rain
No one but me to feel the pain
Why do they not see me?
Diaphonous, like the clouds
I'm weblike in my mist
I scream but have no sound
I lay as dead upon their ground
My head ascends and spins round
I AM the invisible man
I reach to step, I find I falter
Too many times I've stood at the alter
Yelling protest in my head
No one hearing a word I've said
It's silent inside a casket
I reach into an empty basket
Tears pour out they never feel
But inside myself It's all to real
Those I love, they reach and steal
Whatevers left of me
I dance in all the shadows
Can't they see me?
I weep with frustration
At my stunning revelation
I'm in solitude at the station
The train pulled out
I feel my lungs give out
No one left to hear my shout
I'm so alone, I'll always be
Still, no one to ever see me
I AM the invisible man.

“I See Invisible People” … On Facebook - IMRAN™
It was bound to happen. The beautiful invisible woman added me as a friend. And a few days later her equally gorgeous equally invisible girlfriend added me. Unless it was her mean Invisible Man jealous boyfriend!
I can’t tell 😀 even though I have a Sixth Sense. Fortunately I’m alive and it doesn’t involve my seeing dead people. But Facebook’s idiotic system thinks there are invisible people who want to be my friends.
In this case, I can only see dead-poor quality control, software assurance, and user experience design testing at Facebook. Can you see them too? 😉

[24.08.2009] - 2 Weeks!
I was in the mood for some photoshop. I actually did a version where I edited away the hands and feet too, that was the original idea.
But apparently I don't know how to pose when showing off my invisibility, it just looked off.
Anyway, two weeks done. Pretty happy with that.
