Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.

As I was taking the shot, my wife called from Watson Lake in the Yukon to let me know she is well and enjoying her epic bucket list camping/kayaking trip with her daughter a thousand miles away. The bird's pose reminded me of her favourite poem,

Un tempo, l'inverno segnava sia il trionfo della luce che la promessa di rinnovamento. I Romani celebravano i Saturnali e il sole invincibile, il Sol Invictus, mentre la Chiesa cristiana trasformava il 25 dicembre nel giorno della nascita di Cristo, il vero "Sole di Giustizia". Nel Medioevo, il Natale divenne una celebrazione in cui antichi simboli, vischio, alloro, canti festosi e mascherate, si fondevano con storie sacre, trasformando la stagione in una gioiosa unione di tradizione, fede e meraviglia.

Spaceship War!
This construction gave me immense pleasure ... the immense hard angles to get, I think the design is very different from what I've seen around ... and it is interesting / funny to have used some lego bricks that I would not normally use in my MOC's. I love this spaceship! Is well exposed in my office ... and in the future I will make a more interesting support! If I took the supporting structure (in yellow), catching with my hands ... the size of the ship is powerful, strong and consistent. I am filled with pride to have built this ship and her mine!
