This month in Muggles studies you will be focussing on their Home Life: Adaptation and Electricity!
Muggles have invented many devices, mostly powered by “electricity,” which help them cope with the lack of magic to get things done at home. Create an item to facilitate home life without magic, or an accessory for a common Muggle device. Bonus points for explaining how wizards get the same work done without that device or electricity.
Muggles have invented some fascinating devices to accomplish tasks we wizards take for granted. For example, take the flash drive. The above flash drive was demonstrated to me by a muggle friend. She had thousands of documents and photographs stored on it. Unfortunately she had to use another electronic device called a computer to access these.
I don't understand the name "flash drive" at all considering I didn't see it drive anywhere and it also didn't flash - although some of the pictures on it were a little racy...alas I digress....
We wizards have an array of ways to accomplish data storage - the quickquote quill and scroll to document ideas, the glass orb or pensieve to store thoughts and memories, and magical photographs that wave at us. To retrieve the idea we want, we simply accio the item and it jettisons toward us.
The muggle however must rely on electromagnetic particles and the aid of machines and devices that run on these. A complicated process that was centuries in the invention. One must admire their persistence if not there ability to keep up with these devices. I found that my dear friend forgot her flash drive and left it lying about where anyone could pick it up.
Since she cannot perform her own sticking charm or accio charm, I used my wand to create this necklace pouch to store her flash drive in.
The real story - this is my first attempt at jacquard or tapestry crochet. This is a fascinating technique similar to stranded knitting (which I LOVE) but it has an advantage that unlike stranded knitting - the tapestry crocheted item is completely reversible because the design appears on both sides.
I walked in & found her sitting in her dresser drawer...it is a wonder why this piece of furniture broke...darn Ikea.

Achei aquele homem todo coberto de abelhas uma cena pavorosa e ao mesmo tempo fascinante. Ele parecia ter saído de um filme de aventura, um homem destemido, poderoso, concentrado. Achei aquilo incrível, especialmente porque tenho alergia a picada de abelha, nunca poderia me expor tanto. Deve ser muito interessante passar horas só ouvindo aquele murmurinho, com concentração. As vozes de milhares de abelhas. Os problemas devem ficar miúdos, agente deve se sentir bem. Meu pedido é ter podido fazer como aquele homem quando eu era piá e ia passear no sítio: me coberto de abelhas para pegar mel.
