My new setup (with my old desktop monitor). ABS Laptop Mayhem Cobra, a 2.2 ghz, 2gb ram, ATI Radeon 2600 HD 512mb video card portable beast; which suits me well.
Also managed to pick up the new Wacom Tablet Special Edition Intuos 3 9x12, which is already my new best friend. I love this effin' tool! Additional Grip pen, different shape nibs, and other neat goodies.
Also shown but not new are my 320gb external hard disk drive from Western Digital. My Acer 19" LCD Monitor from my temporarily retired desktop (at least until I can put some more money into it, heh).
My setup brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like.. it's better than yours!
Woop woop.
Angry Birds Fan Art for the Arab Spring. Drawn completely from scratch in Photoshop with Intuos 4.
The 3 dates are the dates for the fall of Ben Ali of Tunisia, Mubarak of Egypt and Gaddafi of Libya (Libya's official liberation day). The 2 pigs are Saleh of Yemen and Assad of Syria.

Spent about a hour on this, just practice mainly but thought it looked good enough to upload. I haven't been designing at all. It upsets me because my 9x11 Intuos 3 Wacom Tablet has been messing up lately, so I came across a spring nib in my house, let me tell you it works so much better than the normal plastic nib! The Pressure and sensitivity is right on now, virtually making it a brand new experience.
Apart from digital photography, I also sometime spend my free time drawing and sketching both traditionally and digitally with my Wacom Intuos 4.
Thanks for visiting.
This is a Photoshop painting using Photoshop CS5 & a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. I'm having a lot of fun with the new painting tools in CS5 !

Thank you Les, your photographs are incredible !
I'm currently working on a project in After Effects on the dining table in my apartment in Paris. This is the scene.
Other gear not pictured, but also with me are: 6x8 Wacom Intuos tablet, Logitech USB Headset (for Skyping), a pair of Sony studio Headphones, a couple of USB flash drives, Sony miniDV camcorder, and Canon Powershot S400 (used to take this picture).
Commissioned digital portrait.
First commissioned portrait ever. The photo source was a little iffy, but I think I pulled through in fine fashion. There's an alternate version of this, but I like the burning red-orange best.
Entirely drawn with my handy Intuos Wacom tablet (6"X9") in Photoshop CS2. Completed: 2008.07.14.
I decided to give it a try, to play with a digital pen. I decided to buy the cheaper of the wacom tablet. So far so good, I will upgrade for the Intuos PRO for sure.
So much easier to retouch images!

Battery life and nib longevity might be questionable though, but in terms of response and sensitivity, excellent.

During the Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony I was inspired by the colour green and created a cartoon version of an image which I coloured in my Copic Ciao markers and Letraset skin tone markers. I really enjoyed creating this image and the style I used. Back in 2014, I created some digital art on a website called Pixlr which was where I was encouraged to create more digital work, I received many requests from friends to do more. I also plan to experiment more with the digital side using Photoshop and I plan to get a Wacom Intuos Tablet to allow me to use a range of media to produce my work alongside traditional methods.

Whilst it didn't get much use on this one, this was the first outing for the new tablet - it's a good bit bigger than the Bamboo I was using.

Remarks:
Thanks Juvy for coming with me despite the sporadic weather. Blank skies today, fair the next day. Glad we noticed these isolated clouds wandering above the island.

I often come up with things the IT students can do in our digital art lessons that will make things easier to start off with. This one was make a robot from a series of boxes and, to make sure that it worked, I drew one first. Which is this. Drew it in Procreate, which is stupidly powerful and by far the most capable app on the iPad but one which has UI issues (IMO) which leave me with very mixed feelings. Its not the first app I tend to pick up but is when I want to test out a Bluetooth stylus.
