Dedicated to my Dad.
The typography was made by hand (my hands, haha) with a tablet.
In this picture you can see inside the card, where everybody that works in here signed.
Polish insurgents during the Warsaw Uprising commonly used captured German uniforms and helmets painted with polish colors. Illustration made in Photoshop and Intuos tablet.
I've had the Wacom Intuos 4 M for nearly 4 years and it is easily one of the finest tools in my arsenal. I've only changed the nib once after almost daily use. I would definitely recommend it to any serious photographer!
Strobist:
I had a very detailed Strobist explanation on here, but my Flickr account obviously synced from Aperture which deleted the whole flipping thing.
Lesson learned: enter your Captions in Aperture, not Flickr, or they will be overwritten :-(
Anyway, here goes again…
1 x SB600 @ 1/10th for backlight, just out of the frame camera left, fired through a doubled over sheet of A4 paper for better light dispersion.
1 x SB900 @ 1/100th fired from camera right at about 45º through an A4 sheet of paper that was 'looped' over the flash head and oriented vertically, creating a nice long specular. It was held in place with blue tack.
Backdrop was an A4 sheet.
Triggering was all done with the D700 on camera flash as commander. Metered with a Seikonic light meter.
See comments for setup shot.

The 3 dates are the dates for the fall of Ben Ali of Tunisia, Mubarak of Egypt and Gaddafi of Libya (Libya's official liberation day). The 2 pigs are Saleh of Yemen and Assad of Syria.

It was around this time that I really, really started to "get," drawing flat in Photoshop with the help of layering, layer modes and adjustment layers.
Entirely drawn with my handy Intuos Wacom tablet (6"X9") in Photoshop CS2. Completed: 2008.07.28.
My studio is almost completed. Maya's standing guard.
Guitar on the left: Taylor 214ce and has a humidor in the sound hole.
Guitar on right: Ibanez Artcore Jazz
Amp: Fender Gdec
Foot stand: generic but works for my funky stance as I play fingerstyle.
The cart under the 214ce is where my macbook pro goes when I'm working (closed) which docks to the 24" monitor, Mimo monitor and Wacom Intuos 4.
