I bought Inspire Pro yesterday for a workout. Hardly *inspired* by its performance, I've found that many of the features do not work as they should. It claims to be compatible with my new Wacom Intuos Creative II Stylus....but, it ain't. Certain brushes don't work as well. Adding to these and other performance aggravations, I paid $9.99 for the app. I may make a complaint to the App Store and get a refund.

Half way through this study, I switched to my tried and true favorite digital app ArtRage. It performs, as always, glitch free and remains my all time favorite digital app.

My First photoshoot using the Digital Back, Leaf Valeo 22wi. Very simple lighting setup again with the Mola Beauty Dish from the top left. Shot with a Fuji GX680II Camera and 250mm F5.6 Lens. Photoshopped and edited, preserving skin texture by hand, no filters or action software.

This is the second work I have done with a Intuos Pro 5 stylus pad, so cool not working with a mouse. For those who work with a lot of layers, what a difference it makes. So far it has not saved me any time, but the experience is so much more pleasant and natural.

I buy all my photo gear from Adorama, they are the best in the business, they have international shipping, superb costumer service and best prices, some times i order from Amazon too, they sell everything you can imagine, they have outstanding costumer service and best prices.

Coole Gadgets, neue Apps, Inspirationen usw... schaut vorbei, be a part of it! :)

Can you say 'geek'?

And yes it is a very heavy bag. If I commuted I would have to rethink its contents.

Quick-draw!

Sketched this up in under an hour. I grow tired of commercial work all the time. Sometimes I need to just do something for myself.

I'm usually such a huge perfectionist, if I ever draw anything, it sits around on my desk or in my files, put away for months (even years) before I ever finally touch it again because I'm so afraid of announcing its completion in fear of it being less than perfect. I bought myself a Wreck This Journal a couple months ago, and I've slowly been regaining my creative flow and forcing myself to find the art in imperfection.

Taken from Boracay; This is Crystal Cove Island, really nice place to chill and photograph. I really miss this place now...

This is the first DRI that I did using my Wacom Intuos 4, it is surprisingly very accurate compared to the previous one I'm using. It took me some time to go into details, but I think its worth it.

Quick doodling to try the Intuos....

Recently bought a new Wacom Intuos tablet. I'm learning to draw on the computer! This is Olaf from "Frozen" -- a fun first project.

Another shot from my visit to Northumbria University's Design School. Sigma 17-70 f2.8 - f4.

This is one of the tubular staircores that are dotted around the perimeter of the building.

Bit of processing using Nikosoft Silver Efex Pro 2. Following that after using selections on the buildings to segregate them from the sky areas i did some Non Destructive Dodging & Burning with a 50% Grey Filled Overlay Layer.

The cloud wasnt the best on this occasion as it was very grey leaving me with little contrast in the sky.

I used my Hoya NDX400 Filter to stretch the exposure to 10 seconds.

2011.

Aaaanother portfolio shot.

Retouching watches can get pretty dismal.

But my new Intuos 4 made it a little more bearable!

Strobist: Oh, geez. I honestly can't remember how many and where I had all the tiny little white and black cards to control the highlights and shadows, but suffices to say there was a tiny fort around this thing. Also, it was shot hanging off of a gobo arm, so I was not looking down on it. The key light was a Broncolor Nano A4 head through an extra small softbox above and slightly in front.

Really should have shot a photo of the setup. Oops.

「キヤノン EF100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS II USM」

Noodling around in Photoshop for the first time in a while. I'd like to do a little more to this so there may be an update in the future.
