This photo has been post processed many times. It taught me two things. The first is you should change the white balance first, especially for night photos. Otherwise all changes you made to the photo is wrong. The second is if you feel something is not right, then it is not right actually. Trust your intuition.

He began his charted journey.. watching the lands to oversee
in the cover of the darkness.. a quiet flight in twilight serenity
he noticed the grayness of barren trees... the flowerless river banks
it was the eve of a holiday...and a dismal display to give thanks
like a conductor he began to orchestrate.. and gave the nod to all
mother nature and the rising sun and a morning reminiscent of fall
the sun lit the sky on fire.. the clouds soaked up color pallet
the river reflected every hue.. an orange pink purple red carpet
mother nature's dried fauna lined the banks with pride and grace
creating a perfect capture.. beautiful scenic thankful place
it was a morning to remember.. one born in speculation
a thankful serenade born of a wise old bird's patient intuition.

Intuition, like life, flows.
It's not fixed, static, rigid,
or even "right." It simply
reveals, moment to moment,
what is true for now. As the
moments change, so
does your inner voice. Listening
to it is like learning to surf. Feel
the waves of life come toward you,
and then use your intuition to ride
them with grace.

"65" is a contemporary abstract painting project that is divided into sixty - five works, each of which represents a stage in an ongoing dialogue between the artist and artificial intelligence. This incessant exchange has allowed us to explore new expressive frontiers, merging human intuition with the possibilities offered by advanced technology.
The common thread of the entire collection is the color red, chosen for its emotional and symbolic charge. Red evokes intense passions, vital energy and, at the same time, recalls concepts of danger and prohibition, creating fertile ground for artistic exploration. Within this chromatic context, barely recognizable anthropomorphic and animalistic figures emerge, dissolving and recomposing themselves in abstract forms, with the aim of stimulating the viewer's imagination.
The use of artificial intelligence in the creative process has opened up new perspectives in the field of contemporary art. As highlighted in the essay "Art and technology of the third millennium (Selvaggi-Catricalà, coll. Farnesina)", the integration between human creativity and advanced algorithms raises questions about the nature of art and the very definition of creativity.
In "65", AI becomes a tool in the hands of the artist who, through his authorship, pushes Artificial Intelligence to generate shapes and textures in an infinite dialogue of instructions. When the result achieved becomes satisfactory or corresponds to his mental representation, the tool is set aside as certain artists once did with shop assistants for the preparatory phases of a painting and a path is taken that the "intelligent machine" is not yet (and perhaps never will be) able to travel: painting.
The colors take shape, matter is added to matter, the image is transformed by passing from a two-dimensional plane to a three-dimensional plane, thus completing the creative cycle and adding emotions. And as always, colors are used to express in every possible variant the thematic core that is addressed from time to time, with coherence and stubbornness to access the chosen theme to the end.
Through "65", I invite the user in the first instance to reflect on the relationship between man and machine, exploring how the relationship between artistic sensitivity and artificial intelligence can generate new forms of expression. The works thus become the result of a symbiotic interaction, in which AI amplifies and transforms the artist's inspiration, giving life in my opinion to a collection that challenges conventions and opens new paths in the panorama of contemporary abstract art.
Specifically, without anchoring itself to a realistic story, with this work we wanted to identify various elements that intersect with each other such as passion, strength, desire, conflict and comparison, all situations linked to the human condition.
Who are these figures, what do they represent, why are they interacting?
We are constantly involved in a representation that often overwhelms us and of which we are not participants. We are not the architects of our own destinies except to a minimal extent. We are continually subjected to the aggression of strong powers that decide over our heads by virtue of an “imposed” mandate and which in its content is always disregarded or distorted. Few figures arrogate to themselves the right to impose their will on a global level, even with force if necessary. In the third millennium we are still helpless spectators of territorial aggression between nations aimed at satisfying the ego of the dictator of the moment where force and arrogance become, in a violent and incontrovertible way, a bargaining chip. Arrogance and ignorance are transformed into instruments of domination, fueling a Risk that from a simple game of strategy becomes a modus vivendi for those who hold power. Wars, economic and social conflicts are orchestrated without any regard in the name of the people, relegated to a role of extras, in a script written by a few. The democratic system, which should guarantee fairness and justice, is often bent to the interests of narrow elites who exploit the mechanisms of "induced" representation to pursue personal, economic and geopolitical objectives, often due to the personalism of some or the foolishness of others. Not only that, the manipulation of information and the control of the masses through the media and new digital technologies have accentuated this dynamic, making it even more difficult to distinguish truth from propaganda. Opinions are shaped, consciences are anesthetized, and the perception of reality is distorted to serve the interests of the few who hold power. In an era in which communication should be free and accessible to all, the truth is often filtered and artfully constructed to favor certain interests, leaving the common citizen in a state of powerlessness and disorientation.
Fear becomes a powerful weapon in the hands of those who govern. The ideologies of a few, skillfully employed, manipulate the most fragile, while others remain helpless spectators under blackmail. Fear is often used to justify restrictions on personal freedoms, military interventions, predatory economic policies, and decisions that go against collective well-being. The rhetoric of national or supranational security (as dictated by certain authorities), of progress, and of economic stability is wielded to mask the reality of a world where a few decide for the many, often with disastrous consequences for all.
In this scenario of oppression and manipulation, one must ask what the role of the individual is and whether there is still a way to reclaim autonomy. History teaches us that revolutions have arisen from the awareness and determination of people refusing to accept an imposed fate. However, today more than ever, pervasive control and social division make any attempt at rebellion or change increasingly difficult.
Few voices, in this medieval orgy, rise faintly and go unheard, pleading for the world to stop. One wonders if history has taught us nothing; the time from the cudgel to Hiroshima has passed in vain.
Perhaps the true challenge of our time is to rediscover the sense of community, participation, and collective responsibility. Only through Culture, Education, and Awareness can we counter oppressive dynamics and reaffirm the right of every individual to be not just a spectator, but the protagonist of their own destiny. Awareness is the first step in reclaiming the space that has been taken from us, in breaking the chains of ignorance and fear, and in rejecting a world where arrogance and arbitrariness are the only rules of the game. To prevent ourselves from plunging into a looming new Middle Age.
The proposed work seeks to tell this story. It aims to be a tool of denunciation, a moment of reflection where the viewer, even unconsciously, can perceive the same emotions that drove me to create all of this.
As in the theater of life, everyone plays a role. This is my part, dictated by my coherence and the privilege of expressing my thoughts through Art. I do not know if the result is convincing, and for that, I ask for clemency, but from an ethical standpoint, I had an obligation to fulfill. It was my conscience that demanded it, and I could not silence it.
Enjoy the experience.
Self-Portrait- In our vulnerability we will find strength. Oftentimes I find that the scarier something is for me, the more I need to do it. Many of my self-portraits are proof of my scars. I used to hide in fear of judgment, but I have learned that the more I reveal and share my scars, the more it helps others and inspires them to do the same.

Yuri: “Oh, Fletcher, please do not insult our intelligence…or the sophisticated network of gossips in our family. We know you and Wren are friendly again. Furthermore, you will take our money because we deem it so. How many times must we say that?”
Fletcher: “We talk from time to time on the phone is all. I hardly think that warrants a move to Boston, Butter Bean. And I am not taking one damn cent. End of discussion.”
Lukas: *chuckles, genuinely tickled* “I love the way you said ‘end of discussion,’ like that’ll actually work. The Georgia sun has clearly chicken-fried your brain, son.”
Fletcher: “Tell Yuri she shouldn’t give me the money.”
Yuri: *crosses arms, eyes narrowing dangerously* “Yes, Lukas, why do you not attempt to ‘tell me.’”
Lukas: “No thank you. For one, you won’t listen. And, for another, I happen to think investing in Fletch’s new law firm is a great idea.”
Fletcher: *sneers* “You sound just like Simon. I swear! Did y’all completely lose your balls when you got married?”
Lukas: “Lose, no. Hide in an undisclosed location, so Red can’t squish them, yes.”
Kumi: *face stretches into a pleased smile*
Molly: *signs animatedly, then grabs Fletch’s hand and squeezes it*
Diego: *translates* “‘Fletch and Wren are going to get married and live happily ever after.’”
Kumi: “How do ya know? Is this some mystical, all-knowing deaf thing? You lose one sense, so you gain extra intuition or psychic powers?”
Molly: *rolls eyes, releases Fletch’s hand and signs*
Diego: *translates* “‘Duh. Because of the way his face changes when he talks about her. Maybe y’all don’t notice it because you’re too busy listening to his words or tone, instead of watching his expression. But I can tell when he’s talking about Wren, even without reading his lips. His eyes illuminate like sunlight through oak leaves. It’s real cute.’”
Fletcher (sternly): “Keep talking like that, darlin’, and I’m going to renege on my promise to spring for unlimited pizza toppings at dinner.”
Molly: *smiles up at Fletcher, as she wraps her arm around his waist, unintimidated*

My intuition was spot on for this sunset last Friday, but I didn't have much time, so I headed out to Lacamas Lake. I tried varying compositions to minimize all the houses, and maximize the sunset- this is the comp I like the best.

Looking off into the sky, you can often see what is headed your way. Wind comes ahead to signal something is on the horizon. Whirling around you, the wind influences things you cannot see. In a way, it is like your intuition. You sense something is coming and need to decide how to proceed. Gazing into the sky helps you put the puzzle pieces together. Does what you see feel calming? Does it signal you to take precautions? But if you look at it a different way, a storm can also signal a time to rest and wait. If you have cultivated your resources and prepared properly, when the storm passes you may have new assets available for your use. The rainfall may not be wasted, but instead collected and used. The limbs that have fallen from the trees have saved you the trouble of cutting them and are the firewood of tomorrow. Keeping an eye on the sky lets your intuition speak.

When I saw those stairs I was happy because I could use them to express an idea that I had some time ago and didn't know how to express.
Some people, when they're up to do something, hear in their head: "maybe I shouldn't do it". But with me it happens the other way around. I'm a kind of person who has it difficult to take steps forward, or just don't take them, and I frequently hear a voice in my head telling me: "maybe you should do it".
Much better in light box ;)

I figured since it said focus i'd make an unfocused edit but wasn't sure if people would get the irony.
In another sense I don't think enough people follow there intuition and wind up in horrible situations. Look if you here a creepy noise up in the attic DON'T go check it out. DUH.
I love eating Chinese food with Greg.

Vespa was already packed for her trip to London to review the latest fashion samples for her next Paris Vogue article when she made a final stop in her office. Vespa was just finishing gathering the few papers from her desk she planned to read on the train when her editor burst breathlessly through her door. "Oh Vespa! Thank goodness I caught you, I thought you would have left for the train already" The woman was an impeccable pillar of womanhood, her hair as black as Vespa's, a face so flawlessly drawn on none of the reporters could guess her age, although many attempts had been made. Today she wore a sharp, fitted black suit with a wide scoop of white collar that tucked neatly into her polite decolletage. A fluffy white swath of scarf punctuated with black polka dots floated below her chin. Mdm Guillory thrust a newspaper on Vespa's desk, Vespa was relieved to see it was an english newspaper, she had mostly mastered Cecile Guillory's soupy thick Parisian accent, but reading french...Vespa hadn't really made an effort. The paper was a recent London Times, the whole front page was taken up with an expose on a "Lady in lace". The story and accompanying photograph seemed standard tabloid fare and of little interest to Vespa. Vespa glanced at the clock, she had precious little time to get to her train..."This lady in lace has captured everyone's attention, no one knows anything about her, some say she could be a foreign princess." Vespa hurriedly stuffed her papers in her satchel and moved towards the door "She could also be the sister of a stagehand and it was a slow news day! I need to get on a train Cecile." Vespa moved to push past her boss out the door, but the Vogue Editor stopped her with a firm hand. "Vespa, you still work for me. Yes, you do have a train to catch, to London it so happens, where this lady in lace is! So you now have two assignments, get me those fashion reviews, and find this woman. People want to know everything about her, therefore if we get that exclusive, everyone will read our magazine." Cecile shoved the folded London Times into Vespa's satchel "Bonne chance, Mademoiselle, and..." she lightly pushed Vespa out the door "au revoir!"
Vespa sulked on the way to the train, and most of the way to Lille, she wasn't a puppy, trained to fetch slippers! She didn't move to Paris to do fluffy tabloid pieces. By the time the train was approaching Calais, however, Vespa had read the newspaper article several times. Vespa discarded the article as a source of information, it was poorly written and all conjecture, so she turned to the picture. The photograph of the mysterious lace wearing woman was fairly clear, and closeup. Vespa took out her brass handled spy glass and looked closer at the black and white print. There was no mistaking the high quality of the clothing the woman was wearing, even in grainy ink, Vespa recognized Italian lace and real fur, the pearls were real too. But as the train passed through Ashford, Vespa began to pick apart what was wrong with the lady in lace. The mysterious woman wore a gorgeous imported hat, but her hair had obviously never been professionally set, although someone had given it a good try, and though it was nearly impossible to tell from the photograph, Vespa was sure something wasn't right about the hands, they didn't look quite like they belonged to someone who had grown up with a silver spoon in her mouth. When Vespa's train chugged into London Victoria train station, Vespa had completely forgotten she'd been sent to England on a fashion assignment...
