We (the Aguirres and two Canlas sisters) went to the Intramuros walking tour. The two main stops were the Manila Cathedral and the San Agustin Church. Fort Santiago was built by the Spaniards within the walled city of Intramuros to protect them from the pirates - both Asian and moorish pirates. It was likewise used by the Japanese military during WW II.
