We (the Aguirres and two Canlas sisters) went to the Intramuros walking tour. The two main stops were the Manila Cathedral and the San Agustin Church. Intramuros is an old Spanish district of Manila, and quite charming to look at as a tourist.
It's history you'll learn is less charming - most of this district was flattened with the rest of Manila in WW2 bombings, and it was repaired at ridiculous expense towards the end of the dark Marcos era.
