Backyard of Bogavante restaurant in El Golfo; PITT pens and InTouch Marker

One snowflake with two natural reflections in my car window. One touching it and a faded one on the right. The verse is about a wise woman who is prepared and diligent and has honor.

Proverbs 31:16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. 23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. 24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

Are you ready for a triple threat of the three new wisemen?? The Beast, the Antichrist, the False Prophet? See the 3 faces? I did not draw or add those. They are drops of ice on the window. What made me think of that especially at Christmas time? The 6-sided snowflakes, 666, three 6's.

The trio will look good, seem wise, and fool many. Do you know Jesus as your Savior?

Only by sticking close to Him will you ever have any hope against any deception or snow job. Be wise like this Proverbs 31 woman who is not afraid of the snow or deception because her family is covered in the scarlet Blood of the Lamb.

When I took this photo of the white flower I remembered how in Christ we are new creation. But here I would like to just talk about the joy of being new creation in Christ, because it seems that joy is the first gift Christ gives us through the Holy Spirit when we surrender our lives to Him. Here is a little story...

In the summer of 2003, I had just graduated from high school and by then I was in Canada for 4 years, I decided to find Christian chat rooms online. I had never been to a chat room before (or since) but I really wanted to join one because I needed spiritual advice on how to overcome lust, and I didn’t have any other source of help.

So I went to MSN chat rooms (been closed for a while now) and I looked through few Christian chat rooms before I mustered the courage to join one that had about 8-12 people in it. There were only 2 Christians ladies and the rest were all men. When I joint they were all nice calling me brother and so forth, and asked what brought me to the chat room and I told them my problem and how I was seeking advice on overcoming lust. For some reason that didn’t go well with the men and the “senior” male member finally told me something like, “My grandfather and my dad both look at women, lust after them, and comment on their bodies, and I do the same...we all do and we turned out just fine!” I answered him, “My dad does too but I don’t follow your dad or mine—I follow Christ.” That didn’t go well with them and the senior male member said something to the like, “This is turning stupid and boring, I am leaving”, and he left. Five minutes later I was there only with the two ladies who happened to be the creators/moderators of that chat room (and older lady and a younger lady). They were very friendly and we talked about sin, and the Bible and so on. That was the first night, and they asked me to come to their chat room the next night too.

Next night I went to the chat room again but there was nobody except the older moderator. After few minutes this lady comes into the chat room and begs us to save her friend! She says that she just met this lady in her early to mid 20s yesterday through another chat room and she is suicidal. That’s when I thought, “Ok, it is time to leave!”, because I didn’t want to trouble them with my lust problem when they have to deal with a person who is ready to commit suicide! So the older moderator asked the new lady to bring the young lady into the chat room so she can talk with her. The new lady kept going and coming back saying she can’t convince the young lady to come to the chat room. After 10 minutes or so the young lady finally joins our chat room, and so they both, the moderator and the lady, start talking to her but she wasn’t opening up to anyone. That’s when they both decided to leave her for me to handle, and the older moderator told me that she is going away and that I was in charge of the chatroom!

I didn’t know what to say, after all I was there for help! So I just quoted this verse, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds," which I found on Dr. Stanley’s website (InTouch.org). The young lady asked, “Where does the Bible say this?” I told her, “Psalm 147:3”. Then the new lady got occupied by new members. So I decided to open a private window to chat with the young lady alone.

She told me about her life: how she knows about God from attending a Catholic School, how she doesn’t know where her mom is, she lives with her father and grandmother who are alcoholics, her grandmother is also into all kind of black magic that she is sometimes too scared to even leave her room, and how her brother is also into magic and is a drug dealer! I tried my best so share Christ with her but I was just happy she was opening up—I was afraid she would hurt herself. Around 3:30 AM I was worn out and she said, “Be right back”, so I took the opportunity to go to my bed, kneel on it and pray. I prayed until she came back; I prayed for her well physically and spiritually health and for her to have joy in her life.

We talked a bit more and then I was very tired and my eyes were hurting me so I told her, “I really got to go sleep because I am very tired.” But she kept me chatting for few more minutes until when I really had to leave she blurred, “Ok, I want to get saved, I want to have a personal relationship with Christ but I don’t know how!” So she asked me a bit more about salvation and I told her to go pray asking God to forgive her of her sins, to turn away from her sins, and tell Him that she believes He sent His son to die for all her sins, and to invite Him as Lord into her heart. She agreed and went away and came back after few minutes. We decided to close the private window and go back to the main chat room window.

Something changed in that girl right away! I mean she was happy, and talkative, and cracking jokes and praising God on the Internet! The only thing concerned me is that her typing was becoming far between, so she would type something, then disappear for a minute then she would come back type something and disappear again! I asked her if she was alright and she said, “Oh, I am fantastic! I am just typing like this because my laptop is on the floor and I type something then I roll on the carpet from joy and then roll back to the laptop, type something, then roll away again!”

I never heard from her after that night, and I remember that her user name was something like, “livingindarkness”; I really hope she is now living in the Light of our Lord.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I accepted our Lord as Saviour I was 16 years old and that was in 1999. I was living in Amman, Jordan with my family as we were waiting our immigration papers to Canada to be completed. It was summer time and it was in the afternoon. I was laying on a straw carpet near the window reading a book called More Than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell; the book was translated into Arabic and I had gotten it from a neighbour who left it behind after he immigrated to Sweden. I was at the end of the book and he was telling his story of how his relationship with his dad was recovered after he had become a Christian. At the end of the story he asked if anyone want Jesus Christ to change their lives they must come to Him in prayer, ask for forgiveness, believe that He died for their sins, and surrender their lives to Him. And there was a sample prayer which I prayed that afternoon. I don’t remember the month or the date/day, but I do remember that for two days afterwards I was so happy! I was like I had woken up from a terrible nightmare, or that a very heavy load had been lifted off my shoulders.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 2004 I was sharing Christ with a friend and she decided to accept Him into her heart and I lead her into that same prayer, and the same thing happened to her: for two days afterward she would call me telling me that she was very happy...actually, she really acted like she was high on happiness! I could tell that her heart and life was filled with joy in those two days. Strange thing is that she didn’t remember that but I do remember it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you remember that time when you realized you are a sinner and in need of Salvation? How did you feel afterwards? How does that feeling compare to the feeling prior to accepting Christ?

(Toronto, ON; summer 2010.)

Adrienne Bailon of the singing group 3LW flaunted a short, flirty frock of a lighter shade of gray on the red carpet. We just love how she paired the dress with black flats and a cute beret to complete a simple Parisian look.

He's rich, spoled rotten, entitled, obnoxious, he's the poster-boy for straight douchebags, and prays at a drop of a hat and really lives up to the English slang of his last name (pratt = idiot, asshole, etc.) BUT theres something about Spencer Pratt just, um, gets me going. And I don't know why. He's is SO not my type. And where others just can't stand him. I stand him BIG TOME and drool. I am SO ashamed.

I was walking to University College when I saw this BMW 3-Series Coupe so I took few shots but I didn’t like any of them. As I walked away I looked back and it looked much better from this angle (even though that’s all I could see as it was surrounded by other cars) because the sun wasn’t facing the camera anymore so I took one more capture.

When I came home I decided to do something special for BMW because it has been my favourite car brand for many years now. So using Gimp I darkened the photo and blurred the car’s surroundings…to make it stand out. But what I really wanted to show is that very few cars still look this good when so little of them is showing.

(I am listening to Meditation from Thais by Massenet played by Sarah Chang, to help me write! Beautiful music.)

Back home when people wanted to buy a luxurious car they either bought a Benz or a high end Toyota. Some bought Cadillac or Volvo, and so on. But one day when I was going to visit my aunt’s house with my dad I saw a BMW, and something really drew me to it. I didn’t know anything about it at the time as it was not that known then (I was in my early teens). I mean it looks luxurious and tough, and amazingly well made but it was not boring! All luxury cars I had seen until then were all boring looking and they all tried to look the same to please customers’ tastes in cars and increase sales! But not this car! This car seemed like saying “I am good, and I know it. I am different, and I don’t care!”

That is my only memory of a BMW from back home. So when I came to Canada I realized I was not alone: there are many young men who love BMWs! Then I found out that it is actually Canada’s best selling luxury brand!

If you are a woman and don’t understand why men like cars, then this paragraph might be of help! You see, one day I went with my aunt and cousin to a very big mall in Detroit and she went into a shoes store just to “look around” and we waited outside. I looked at her through the glass window and she was trying on a very pretty pair of shoes, but she wasn’t walking in them! (How do you try shoes without walking in them! It is like test driving a car without driving it!) What she was doing is pretty much standing still and move one foot to the front of the other and look at her feet, and there was such a slight but delightful smile on her face! That’s when I realized sometimes women don’t buy shoes because they make the most sense--comfortable, warm, etc.--hey buy them because they feel beautiful in those shoes! They want to look and feel like a princess! And it hit me that men also don’t necessary buy the cars that makes more sense—meets their needs, fuel efficient, reliable, etc—they buy the cars that make them feel more of a man, that makes them feel like they are kings! And to me, no car makes a man feel this way better than BMW does!

So in summary: men view shoes as “those things that take you from point A to B!” Women view cars as “those things that take you from point A to B!” Hehe! May not apply to everyone though!

The reason I like BMWs because I simply love their designs. I like car that look like a piece of art…a piece of intertwined metal body parts and lines with tough looks, yet composed presence…well, a BMW!

You see there is a fine balance between looking really good and looking silly! If you are a woman, imagine your favourite high heel shoes with pink polka dots! Exactly! Well, it is the same with cars. Very few car companies have mastered the art that blends luxury, design/image, technology, quality, functionality and performance! And to me BMW is on top of the list when it comes to meeting all those objectives!

It is important however not to be obsessed (carried away) with our affection to anything in such a way that it takes God’s place in our lives. I remembered a couple years ago I used to have to get a new BMW desktop background on the computer at work every morning before work! Gradually I started feeling uneasy in my spirit because of this, especially since I did it right before my InTouch daily devotional and I usually didn’t want to read it anymore afterwards! So I had to be more careful to understand and draw the line between a healthy admiration of something, and making an idol out of it.

Also a few years ago, when I was legalistic in my relationship with God, I tried to “act” as if I didn’t like BMW! Or at least hated the fact that I did! Well, this is not something God disapproves of. He has given us talents and interests for His glory and our enjoyment. I’ve always enjoyed designing things so BMW’s designs naturally hold an interest for me.

I know that I am a Prince in my my Heavenly Father’s kingdom. I know that I am valuable and loved. I know that I am who I am because of who I am in Him. My identity is wrapped up in His identity. I belong to Him. Everything I am is because of who He is and Has done. Before I had this deep understanding of who I am in Christ I naturally associated my worth with things, including cars such as BMW. But now I enjoy car designs with peace knowing that they are nothing more or less to me than art. Many things God does not necessary wants us to get rid of (such as work, wife, money, family!), but to balance them so that we can enjoy them as we enjoy Him first, rather than be mastered by them and miss on the joy of putting Him first.

I am not sure I will ever buy a BMW because they are expensive and I don’t feel comfortable spending that amount of money on a car. But may be I will buy a used one :) By the time I graduate and get a job I might buy the BMW M3 Sedan (a fav. of mine: www.zcars.com.au/images/2008-bmw-m3-sedan31.JPG), if it is according to God’s will :)

I don’t like how some people automatically have negative ideas about BMW drivers :( Wait until I get my BMW then I will show them! LOL! Just kidding! I threw that in for the fun of it :D

Ok, so I have seen my share of videos showing BMW drivers doing careless things! Actually, one day I saw on the street a BMW driver following a police car very closely and honking the horn at it because the cop was driving slowly (aka within speed limit!) So the BMW driver changed lines quickly without signalling, sped up and changed lanes again to be in front of the police car, slowed down and stopped to make a left turn! Hmmm…ok so there might be some true about BMW drivers “think they own the road”, but not every one is! Some just love the car, and have no intentions of giving anybody a hard time whether driving or not :)

So I hope you like the photo :)

PS: I hope BMW won't be upset for using their logo without permission! But they should actually be happy for doing free commericals for their cars :s

Have you ever dealt with a bunch of defective products and packages when you’re trying to have all of the packages move down a packaging line?

This is probably a common irritation, and defective products cause a lot of issues.

It can make you want to outsource packaging fully, or maybe you want to put it with another supply chain. This is an option, since it allows you to focus on the capabilities of your service too.

Contract packaging is a great opportunity to fix this issue. That’s because, they can reduce defective products, so you’re not dealing with trying to chase up defective packages while dealing with everything else that goes into running a company.

Contract packaging is helpful since it gets rid of defects, and also gives you customers that are happier.

What Defects do to Manufacturing

If you’re running your own plant, then you KNOW the issue of defective products.

Defects aren’t just your product is improperly packaged. You could have bar codes that are duds, the printing might get blurred, there is information that’s not right, leaks, bad foil cuts that result in issues with how the cardboard boxes, and even the seals can get messed up.

If you’re doing all of the packaging on your own, you might not know WHY the product is defective. And then you spend all your time trying to hunt for the cause instead of doing the marketing and other tidbits.

Defects also cost time, products, materials, and in many cases, money. It’s also a source of frustration, since you’re losing a lot of these resources to that in general, which in turn causes a wealth of different issues as well.

Contract packaging is simple, improves the wellness of your life, and the contract packaging deals with all of the extra stuff so they can handle it BEFORE it gets to the customer. They then can give you details on the defects, along with quick solutions for every problem.

How Much Does Defective Packaging Cost?

The thing is, defective packaging doesn’t have a set price tag.

The costs are in the form of the labor used to fix this, the money put in to fix it, and any materials and products.

However, the problem with defects is that they’re not easy to find. This is especially true if you have multiple lines of packaging, so you’re bleeding resources, and of course they’re remedied.

When you can identify this quickly, it will fix it. If you do contracting, you won’t have to do it yourself. It could be cheaper just to have another company train the machinery, re-work and fix any repairs, and of course any proper adjustments.

They can do this, and it can cost you a lot of money.

Contract Packaging Is Essential for Success

Contract packaging will be the first contact point in #packaging, so if they notice something, they can fix it immediately.

They will talk to the facility that does the manufacturing, and then solve the issue for you. This is quicker than you doing it on your own. It creates the liaison between your customers and your company as well, so people will want to continue to use you.

They also can identify whenever a #product slips through the cracks, properly inspecting it.

Welcome to the Jornada del Muerto desert basin of New Mexico where INFINITI celebrated its 30th anniversary of past and present prominence while hinting at a progressive future inclusive of electric mobility. The 30 Years Forward vehicle experience and test drive event with the 2020 fleet --including the venerable QX80s and dashing Red Sports -- was exciting, historical, and entertaining. Once at Spaceport America, we were able to drift AWD Q50 Red Sport 400s and RWD Q60 Red Sport 400s on the dynamic desert course constructed for the festivities.
