Dipsas vermiculata - Cordillera Escalera Conservation Area, Peru
This snake was a very welcome find one rainy day as myself and my labmate searched for Ranitomeya variabilis. We were checking bromeliads up in the cloud forest for the poison frogs with limited success and I peeked into yet another bromeliad and saw this snake nestled in among the axils, it was actually partially submerged in the water that had accumulated in there. Dipsas are always a cool species to see, they are often quite gorgeous and I never get tired of seeing the different species with different patterns. Like all Dipsas sp. this one feeds on slugs and snail which are abundant in the wet epiphyte laden forest of the mountains.
It emerged from the bromeliad and put on a bit of a show for us flattening its head and trying to look intimidating. This is a common technique for snakes to appear bigger and more threatening. Perhaps this would have been successful but we knew that not only are Dipsas harmless in terms of possessing no venom they're also very mild mannered snakes that are extremely reluctant to bite even when handled. After the photo session it was guided back into its original hiding place and it happily coiled up in the axils.

As I reach out with heart and soul, trying to improve the conditions, expose the fraud, waste, corruption, mobbing, harassment and whistleblower retaliation here in Yosemite; I’m told “we are sorry to learn of your frustration”. Frustrating my ass; it’s criminal and that’s putting it mildly, this crap has been going on for over ten years. Using words like frustrating is another way to try and minimize what actually goes on here. The ground work for cover-up has begun. As my neighbors, coworkers, managers and others that live and work in the park continue their Community Mobbing, Harassment and Retaliation.
Yosemite will remain Extremely Toxic and Corrupt until there is common sense and accountability. Why is that so hard to understand? Until then, you may want to leave your dignity at the gate.
Putting the haters to the side, look at what a beautiful day it is. This was taken with 9 images. I had my head in the clouds. Now you see why I fight so hard, so people can be treated with dignity here.

Thank you and Flickr for giving me the opportunity to expose the Truth. Doing so, is becoming more dangerous each and every day, in the United States.
Many years ago; I trusted our government. I trusted our presidents. I trusted law enforcement. I believed in what I read. Believed in what I saw in the evening news. It wasn’t until after I served this country, came home, tried to settle back in; I realized how naive, ignorant, I had been. The trust I had lost, seemed so long ago, yet seems like yesterday. I see it every day.
I see so many, falling for the same. Unable to look past their ignorance, their self-absorption. Believing in grifters, trusting tonics, snake oils. Their patriotism, coasting on broken words. Lost in their own obsessions.
I even see veterans; ignorant to the tarnish, they cast upon the valor of the fallen. The tarnish, they cast upon a constitution, they once swore an oath to defend, uphold. I see them walk the halls of our VA Hospitals. I see them walk the aisles of Walmart. I see their anticipation, their eagerness, to desecrate a fellow veteran. I witness, many others; brandishing a flag, so many have fallen for. Their false courage, protected by numbers and others. All in the name of hearsay. All for the possibility, of being accepted. By a darkness, they will never understand, or try to.
Don’t trust everything you hear; because it’s repeated by power. Don’t trust everything you see; because it’s covered in roses. Dig deep, trust in yourself.

Benazir Bhutto, who was assassinated Thursday in Rawalpindi, was the first female prime minister of Pakistan and of any Islamic nation. She led Pakistan from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996.
Benazir Bhutto died Thursday after a suicide bombing at a political rally in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Bhutto, 54, spent eight years in self-imposed exile in Great Britain and Dubai after President Farooq Leghari dismissed her second administration amid accusations of corruption, intimidation of the judiciary, a breakdown of law and order, and undermining the justice system.
She was found guilty of corruption and sentenced to five years in prison. The conviction was later overturned but she remained in exile until this year.
She returned to Pakistan in October after President Pervez Musharraf signed an amnesty lifting corruption charges. Watch political history of Bhutto »
"Bhutto was the daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, former president and prime minister of Pakistan, who was hanged in 1979 for the murder of a political opponent two years after he was ousted as prime minister in a military coup. Benazir Bhutto was the de facto leader of her father's Pakistan People's Party.
Her brother, Murtaza, was killed along with six others in a 1996 shootout with police at his home. Another brother, Shahnawaz, died mysteriously in France in 1985.
"I know the past is tragic, but I'm an optimist by nature," Bhutto told Blitzer in September. "I put my faith in the people of Pakistan, I put my faith in God. I feel that what I am doing is for a good cause, for a right cause -- to save Pakistan from extremists and militants and to build regional security.
"I know the danger is out there, but I'm prepared to take those risks."
Benazir Bhutto earned degrees from Radcliffe College and Oxford University and received an honorary degree from Harvard University in 1989.
She leaves her husband of 20 years, Asif Ali Zardari, two daughters and a son.
Bhutto's husband issued a statement Thursday from his home in Dubai saying, "All I can say is we're devastated, it's a total shock."

"often, when an intruder is in the area, the green anole raises its spine, fans its dewlap, and does "push-ups" accompanied by intermittent ultrasonic hisses..." well, i can verify that! i meant to upload this long ago to accompany (www.flickr.com/photos/fidd/8873329841) which i prefer aesthetically, but not in potential humor or color. plus, he didn't have that terrifying dewlap/pushup/hissing thing going on in the other. i simply felt all must bear witness to the fearsome anole who roams three square meters and one water pipe in my backyard!

Once the weather breaks, I start walking to and from work. At first It’s so surreal; surrounded by so much beauty and wildlife. I often see the same critters year after year. As I watch them grow, some become familiar with me. Some will walk up close, some hop and others fly. I take a moment losing myself in their trust and gentleness. Then; my coworkers realize my pattern has changed, I’m walking to work now. They start showing up on my way to and from work. Waving lit cigarettes as they pass, blowing smoke into the air, waving cell phones with speakers full volume, boom boxes crammed in backpacks blaring so load they scare anything in the Valley. Lots of trash and cigarette butts start showing up along the pathway. Then I get to work and more retaliation begins.
Welcome to Yosemite’s Toxic Mobbing Community. You want to get them riled; expose the truth, stand up for what’s right, report a safety violation, report a work related injury. They will come down on you like nothing you have ever witnessed. There was a scathing article published in the San Francisco Chronicle on 6-2-19, that says a lot about Yosemite, but one thing you wont get; is a response from the Superintendent's office.

We used to have signs in Yosemite National Park saying; “If you see waste report it”. When we did report it, we were retaliated against. Today (5-16-19), the signs are gone, but are still retaliated against when we report waste or fraud or harassment or retaliation. Accountability is replaced with excuses, incompetence and retaliation; as our contractors rake in millions and Workplace Mobbing rules.

This Great Blue Heron flying down the Sumas River spots a couple other Great Blue Herons and lands and puts on a strut and a feather display. It is September so I do not expect these kind of displays for breeding purposes until the spring. Usually if one Great Blue Heron spots another in its territory it is much more direct in chasing it away. Not sure what it was all about but it was impressive.
This is a shot of the road from Matsouki (Epirus, Greece) to the Baros pass. There are tons of stones slid down from the craggy mountains' tops onto the tarmac; the latter gets extremely narrow at several places (possibly due to landslides). On the left of the frame the Báros peak (6,463 ft / 1,970 m) is seen; to the right of the Baros peak, one sees the higher Tsoúma–Plastári peak (7,146 ft / 2,178 m). Awe ensues from driving through so rugged a terrain; equal measures of intimidation and driving pleasure emerge!
Baros is a remote mountain pass at a high altitude (6,234 ft / 1,900 m approximately). Baros pass is a natural boundary between the regions of Thessaly (East, Trikala county) and Epirus (West, Ioannina county).

If you’re a victim of Gangstalking, Workplace Mobbing; Violence is not the answer. I know it’s a bitch, but don’t let them break you. Start yourself a daily journal. Document everything, don’t dwell on it. If nothing else; these haters are consistent. You’ll start to see their patterns, their ignorance. This can be used against them. If we ever get someone brave enough; in the FBI, Secret Service, any Law Enforcement; to actually do something. Anything, you know, like telling the truth about Gangstalking, Workplace Mobbing. The Root cause of most, of the Mass Shootings.
Try to find an outlet; read, learn, listen, compose. Reach inside and find something that will take you to a better place. If only in your mind.
Gangstalking and Workplace Mobbing, are the major Motives for Mass Shootings. Don’t let anyone tell you different. Recently; many have dismissed the Walmart shootings, as Workplace Violence. They don’t tell you the root cause of this Workplace Violence. The Root Cause Is Workplace Mobbing. It’s one of the many ways an employer, coworkers; can rid themselves of whistleblowers, union organizers. Anyone that doesn’t go along with the status quo of corruption.

The Day after the 4th of July...had to go in and work at my real job...got off early...nothing to do...so nothing special...
This was my 28th click of the Canada Goose on Watch...being handheld...and me not being Mr Steady...I am constantly trying to frame the image as I wobble...remember..."Weebles Wobble, but the don't fall Down"...so I take a lot of shots to get one or two I like...as I do not crop...unless necessary (like in sports shots, wildlife from afar, or that matter anything from afar...no dis on cropping)...in other words...I get Lucky.
I walked up onto the dam from the back slope...the Canada Geese just moved further away me along it...not in any particular hurry...This Goose on Watch looked kinda Bad-A$$...definitely putting out an intimidation vibe

A main-line Police mecha built for dispersing riots. Relying on intimidation and gas rounds to disperse crouds, this mecha operates with regular officers to capture the leaders of a riot. It can be additionally armed, but seldomly is. The reason being any heavier armaments usually incite the rioters.
So I actually looked into Police riot-control tactics for this one. I have to say it's fascinating. Seeing as the goal is always to disperse the crowds, I thought I should build my mecha to be armed with only gas rounds. The size is a more practical one.

The titan Giganthor is featured to be a flightless dragon and cannot breathe fire. Instead this monster uses it's powerful arms to rip apart it's prey and feast on their flesh.
Overcome with a strong thirst for blood the beast will smears it's victims blood and guts onto itself to cooling it's body temperature, and for intimidation it's foes.
Imagine living in a country where you were heard.
Imagine living in a country where elected officials served the people.
Imagine living in a country where liberty and justice were for all.
Imagine living in a country where all were treated equal.
Imagine living in a country where your home was your sanctuary.

A nice lady is feeding the White-tailed Jackrabbits in the park. I counted 20 waiting for food one day. She drops a small pile of seed for each, but bullies want to appropriate everything, leading to a number of boxing fights. Too many rabbits in too many places to have had much success photographing them. This is my best so far. Wascana, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. 12 January 2022
Two years ago this was said by our Government Over-site Committee:
The employees described "horrific working conditions (that) lead us to believe that the environment is indeed toxic, hostile, repressive and harassing," the park service said in a preliminary report last month. (Sep 2016)
Sep 2018, two years later Yosemite National Park is just as Toxic; at work and in housing.

For a time, the new Sassi and the old butted heads. When a pioneering restaurant, Il Caffè del Cavaliere, opened, someone set off a small bomb in its entryway. The Corriere della Sera reported that some new residents felt as if they were living in the Wild West, and were thinking of buying guns to fend off “harassment, requests for money, and acts of intimidation.”
But order was established, and as the limestone hilltop was restored its rough simplicity found new admirers. In 1993, unesco named the Sassi a World Heritage site, and with that designation “tourism really began,” according to Nicola Rizzi, a retired high-school teacher who was born in the Sassi. Cave dwellings were combined to form restaurants and boutique hotels.
Materan culture, once thought backward, was now admired for its warmth and its precocious commitment to sustainability. By the turn of the millennium, the Sassi had a popular jazz club, and artisanal winemakers were storing their grapes in the limestone warrens. A candlelit cave set on a hilltop turns out to be an ideal spot for a holistic spa.
Koda the Magnificent, and I have made it back to Colorado. We traveled from Arizona, through Utah, to Colorado. Every stop along the way, was met by the local bait and haters. These are the Village Idiots. They are rallied, and eager in wait. Mobbing, blocking at gas pumps, registers, and any area we may venture to; provoking. Some call it Gang Stalking or Community Mobbing. I call it Ignorance and Hate. Take a good look at this country today. We can thank our legislators and corrupt government agencies, for the state of our nation. Yep folks; keep electing 70-80 year old, career legislators and presidents. Their greed, lies and corruption, are what have gotten us here. Both parties!
Gang Stalking is real. These are deplorable acts of hate, harassment and intimidation.

In a Nation so filled with hate.
As we head to the mountains, those filled with hate; set-up along our familiar path. Eagerly, waiting to cast their shadows of hatred and ignorance. Patiently waiting, to seed acts of intimidation and discuss. Grown men, brandishing large sidearms, using electronics to irritate a defenseless service dog. Intent to silence anyone, and anything exposing the truth. The truth of a Nation, resorting to using the lowest forms of human existence. Using tactics once used by those, in white robes. Using tactics and devices, used by our military, by law enforcement.
Gangstalking and Workplace Mobbing; are the biggest threat, to our democracy. Gangstalking and Workplace Mobbing are the main factor behind the majority of Mass Shootings. Those shooters, being forced into a corner; unseen by most Americans. A corner of desperation, isolation, and darkness.
Please educate yourself on Gangstalking and Workplace Mobbing. They truly are the main motive, for most of these Mass Shootings. I can give you facts, all day long. You’ll get more benefit, if you search yourself. I’m not saying this for fame. I have that, in a very dark world. A world I hope you never see. Help me shed light on a topic, our legislators, law enforcement, government agencies; so desperately want to keep hidden.
