This evening we were interviewed by two researchers of the KNAW (Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences) about photography, Flickr and the Tropenmuseum-Amsterdam (museum of the Tropics) in Amsterdam.
A year ago, I started a group called "Tropenmuseum-Amsterdam". The researchers are interested in the way the combined use of knowledge and images works on the internet, especially in image databases such as Flickr.
It was an interesting experience.
Thanks to Pat Law (http://www.blankanvas.bypatlaw.com), I got to photograph the legendary Steve McCurry for an online article.
In 2001 and 2003, I interviewed my grandfather and grandmother, Dan and Anita Minicucci. My grandfather died in 2003, and ever since I've been meaning to transfer the interviews to CD and give them to my family. I finally did it in time for Christmas, using Jewelboxing cases (thanks, Jim!) and printing assistance from Cinnamon.
The team was overwhelmed by the amount of information we got.
In collaboration with Agronet, the Ministry of Agriculture and a professional camera team a documentary was filmed in the countryside of Cauca (Colombia). A farmer and an indigenous farmer explained us about their adaptations to climate smart agriculture, their changes in practices and the way modern technologies such as text messages with weather forecasts have been able to help them. About the Batman Exhibit, DC Comics’ iconic Super Hero
Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour worked closely with DC Entertainment to create “The Batman Exhibit” and it will be a featured addition on the studio’s historic backlot for a limited time. Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with the original suits worn by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and Christian Bale in their respective portrayals of Batman, making it the first time that artifacts from all seven films have ever been exhibited together. In addition, the exhibit will feature costumes worn by prominent supporting characters and villains, including Robin, The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Batgirl and Alfred. Also on display will be a wide range of props, including Batarangs, Joker cards, Two-Face coins, one of the Penguin’s umbrellas and Bane’s bomb. In conjunction with the Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour, DC Entertainment has also created a historic display of iconic Batman comic book covers that provides a one-of-a-kind, colorful photo backdrop for visitor photos, readymade for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In the studio’s Picture Car Vault, several of the Caped Crusader’s most famous vehicles, including the Batpod, Tumbler and Batmobile, will be exhibited as they were in his lair. Visitors will have the opportunity to activate the Bat-Signal and pose at a Batman-themed interactive green screen photo opportunity.

This is an interview made by one of my favorite blogs :) It will tell you a little more about me and how I work.
Thanks for believing in my crafty hands ;)
I'm currently writing the third season of The Life and Tales of Elliot Crane. I already have four normal lenght episodes mostly written and a synopsis ready for several more, so I'm finally ready to show the titles of those episodes. It doesn't mean that I won't come up with additional episodes along the way (like I always do), but these are definite episode titles of season three. Here goes...
Celebrity Bites (minisode) - already published
Eagle’s Feather (minisode) - already published
S3E1: The Ghost Has Found Me - written, coming late May/early June
S3E2: Between Love and Hate - written
S3E3: Give Every Man thy Ear, but Few thy Voice - written
S3E4: I’m Dynamite, and I Don’t Know Why - written
Technophobe (minisode) - written
S3E5: The Dude with the Electric Blue - written
There's room for an episode or two with interviews here. The story will be getting a more serious turn after this.
S3E6: Yard of Blonde Girls
S3E7: What Happened in Memphis
S3E8: Be Your Husband
S3E9: Threesome in the Church
S3E10: The Naked Truth, Part 1
S3E11: The Naked Truth, Part 2
What I would like to do right now is give you a chance to interview Elliot! If you have a doll that is a fan of Elliot, you can Flickr mail me, and I will give you my email address for you to send the questions to Elliot. There can be as many questions as you like and they can be as intimate or bizarre as you (and your doll) like, and I'll make sure that Elliot answers them. ;-) I don't have a deadline yet by when I need the questions, but I need to know if you are interested in sending them, as soon as possible. See, I need to reserve space for the interviews in the story before the infamous wedding craziness that Ophelia brings with her starts. ;-D Elliot is starting to get fame in the beginning of the season, but things will be quite... err, impossible for him after the wedding, and that will last until the end of the season. :-O
Petra has already sent her questions to Elliot, and we're nearly finished with the interview. It's a long interview and takes episode 3 almost completely. The minisode called Technophobe will contain Elliot's original answers to the questions Sydnee sent me already last summer. They were for her Blatherskite doll magazine's August issue: www.flickr.com/photos/syd_griddlebone/7638264268/in/faves... My dolls will be finally living August of last year, so Elliot will be talking about the magazine when he gets it in his hands, ;-)
I can include more minisodes or full episodes that contain interviews among the first episodes of the season. I think radio interviews would be the best, because we can't actually have the interviewer and Elliot in the same room. That's what I ended up doing with Petra. Or I could 'hire' one of my dolls to play your interviewer, which might be a fun solution as well. ;-)
Let me know if there's something you would like to ask Elliot, and we'll get the ball rolling!
West Ham's last game at their Boleyn home of 112 years took place on the 10-05-16 against Manchester United. West Ham won 3-2. With West Ham moving to the Olympic Stadium at the start of next season, Green Street and the Boleyn will change forever.

The UK based artist "D*Face", a.k.a. Dean Stockton has been hard at work on his latest show entitled "New World Disorder" at StolenSpace Gallery in London. The artist is well known for his graffiti and street influenced work, which often features bold graphic imagery, and one could say his work is a new permutation (and evolution) of the pop art aesthetic Roy Lichtenstein made famous.
