Got the chance to talk Twitter & the future of social media with Denver's IP attorney, @ideasurge on Twitter. Shot with Kodak Zi8 using internal mic. Lessons learned: 1) The Zi8 requires at least 4ft between subject and camera to lock focus on subject's face, 2) in order to create space for focus, you'll need to use an external mic.

Interview for "Sailabration"
I was side-by-side with photographers at Fort Smallwood Park only 2 miles from my home Tuesday, for the end of the "Sailabration". This was a place where one could see the 40 ships (both naval, and Tall Ships) that had joined in the week's festivities, leaving Baltimore. There were ships from other countries involved in the Sailabration as well. While there, waiting for ships to pass by, the husband and wife team next to me were asked to be interviewed about the event. Only the wife agreed. I asked the photographer if he wanted me out of the frame but he said I could go or stay, so I stayed (hoping to be in the background as they filmed). I decided to whip out my 3D camera during the interview and snap a few shots.
Info about the event.

Mingle Media TV's Red Carpet Report host Kristyn Burtt were invited to come out to cover and attend American Ballet Theatre's (ABT) 75th Anniversary at their Holiday Benefit held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
The Holiday Benefit sponsored by Harry Winston and Lloyed E. Rigler-Lawerece E. Deutsch Foundation features a special on-night-only performance by world-renowned artists of the American Ballet Theatre.
The special performance included choregraphed pieces from ballet classics like The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, with Misty Copeland reprising her sensational New York debut as Odette/Odile and Stella Abrera, performing an excerpt from her critically-acclaimed interpretation of Giselle followed by a post-performance dinner and dessert with the dancers.

Ahead of their next show "The Joys of Spring" opening tomorrow evening Outline Editions did a quick interview with me last week on nature and my latent desire to get out of London. Head down to Berwick St over the next few weeks to catch the show - there is a fantastic roster of people with affordable art on show with window graphics by Mr Anthony Burrill.

At the popular and busy outdoor Clover Market in Chestnut Hill Sunday, a photographer with “Poseybooth” took photos of anyone willing to pose and of at least one unwilling dog. Poseybooth is a modern version of the ubiquitous instant photo booths of yore. But instead of a getting a wet print, those posing received their photos in digital format via text or email. The freebie souvenir appeared to make many people very happy. Watch video here

Ginza, as many of us know, is one of the premier/up-scale shopping districts of the world. The daily traffic of the main street is undoubtedly high.
Not sure how often it was done, but the main shopping street at the Ginza district was completely shut down for cars and only pedestrians were allowed. Also many coffee tables and chairs were setup along the middle dividers of the street for people to rest or eat.
I assumed that it does not happen often since many people (even locals) were taking pictures of this phenomenon.
Also there were many TV reports (I assume?) running around interviewing shoppers. This happened to be one of them.

Taken during the brilliant Autumn Tweed Run 2011. After weeks of searching vintage clothing stores, I managed to put together a suitable outfit. On the day we had a fab time cycling around central London with 3-500 chaps and dames dressed in some amazing outfits and with some stunning bicycles.
