It's an interesting community, the one populating the parking lot area of the Nu'uanu Pali State Wayside on Oahu. The cats & the chickens are in constant proximity, but there was no sign of any interest in predation. Heck, many of those feral cats don't look healthy enough to catch & do in their neighbors, in any case. Here's what I have to say: spay or neuter your pet. Do not dump unwanted pets; give them to a no-kill humane society.
The state of Hawai'i has a feral and abandoned cat population of about 300,000.
life is like a box of chocolates. a cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. so you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. sure, once in a while there's a Peanut Butter Cup or an English Toffee. but they're gone too fast and the taste is... fleeting. so you end up with nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts. and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you got left is an empty box... filled with useless brown paper wrappers.
We stopped by the Mission San Xavier del Bac, south of Tucson, AZ, right before closing time on a lovely afternoon in March 2014. The mission is pretty unique - a mix of early Spanish colonialism and Southwest Native art. Most of the statues are made of wood. The artwork is very colorful. Pretty cool place to check out.
I was very intrigued by the design of these houses down the street from my house...it looks almsot as they were originally the same house.
Sept. 8, 2011, 7:25 p.m. The bridge that is part of Rue Montcalm in Hull/Gatineau goes over the Ruisseau de la Brasserie. It has an interesting design.
The Running Room marathon group is enjoying a quiet run along the canal. The Ottawa pathways are much busier!

Tattoos are a big part of many people's lives, either when they are done just to decorate a part of the body or when they have an extra role, like keeping a memory alive or saying something that can't be said in words.
This projects sees them as a way to keep track of your life.
There are three models with a full body cover, with several connections between them
and tattoos depicting some aspects of their lives.
The typography writes "Interesting Pasts" emphasizing all the above.
Design by Dylsectic
(not all tattoos are originally my illustrations)

A sadly deteriorated building, a few plots to the south of the restored facades at 381-385 High Road. What restoration could do for this building can at present only be imagined.

On the day that I am without camera (my old A95 is broken), I am top in interestingness
(OK in case you are interested, I was taking some photo's next to a campfire, suddenly I felt a burning twig on my arm, in a reflex I pulled it back, my camera was on a wristband and swung (hard) against a rock, broke the lens ;-( tomorrow, I'll have a new camera :-) )

The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
Sadly now demolished, I took this from the train I was on, we passed reasonably slowly, this building always interested me.
Images which hit the interestingness section. I managed to get up to 55 or 60 at some point but then lost a lot and can only assume that it was by adding pictures to too many groups which I thinked affected their interestingness...

Think I am losing the interestingness bug somewhat although love playing with a photo's interestingness in my own stream by adding it to a group or adding tags
Interesting color (and faint rings in top right) due to interaction between polarizer and polarized train window.

I'm not sure what plant this is but I think some sort of thistle. It has a very interest flower though. This image is a composite of two frames blended with CombineZP.
After reading a book about particle physics in my lunch breaks this week, I'm really looking forward to book 7 now. So is Stinkhorn.
I think this might be the most photos that I've had at one time in Explore. Not sure, because I don't check Scout every day. These were all taken with a somewhat limited point-and-shoot Canon Powershot A95. Someday I hope to get a digital SLR so I can take even better photos. Thank-you for visiting my stream and checking out my photography!
