Brad just sent me this photo. I was in a really nasty ATV accident down in Mexico back in... 96? Brad, Paula and Adam were with me at the time, Lisa picked us up at the airport. Here they are visiting me in the ICU, I'm guessing that Adam was taking the picture.
I'm holding a bag that was a long-running joke between us, pre-printed with the words "A Gift from Tracey & Irv" and used by some people we know as a lazy, tacky way to wrap/deliver presents. Because when you've got a collapsed lung, broken ribs, a concussion & "brain bleed," stress fractures in your spine that may require wearing a body brace and a massive hemotoma that may require a blood transfusion, a good laugh comes in handy. Even if it hurts like hell.
Still, laughter is not the best medicine. That would be morphine combined with a healthy dose of "The Price is Right."

This intensive agriculture is irrigated with water from the Tajo-Segura interbasin transfer. Water is pumped from Ojos dam on the Segura River and then distributed through pressurized networks.

Water is being diverted from the exploited mountains to irrigate cash crops. This intensive agriculture is one of the causes for environmental decline in the area.
Joey and his mom came to create photos for a portfolio he was building. They came all the way from Quebec to shoot in Ontario. Very nice young guy, I have no idea if he acted or modelled much afterwards.
I believe that this might have actually been a work uniform, he had landed a job bussing tables at a high end restaurant.
