My first purchase ever...was so excited and this is how he came [see broken ankle/foot]. Hopefully, the seller will resolve the issue peaceably but this will be my last. The amount of $$ these dolls cost, regardless of "deal" it's not worth it (to me.)

So bummed...😢😪😭

UPDATE: I decided between the seller and IT toys...whoever responded/acted appropriately, I would go that route. IT toys wants me to send him in for repair and they are not offering a replacement doll. WRONG! That's not what I paid for and its not what I'm going to accept. His ankle is a clean snap and you can't even get the peg out of the leg. So why should I accept a body that was shipped once to me...will be shipped back to them..."repaired" and same already been through it body placed in more shipping risks, sent to me again? Spoke to Veronique'...girl, not having it...try again. If my daughter's therapies and IEP meetings taught me nothing else...it taught me to "GET IT IN WRITING" because people will tell you anything and do the opposite.

eBay Seller Update: After me messaging her yesterday, she said she will message me a new tracking number in the morning. Waiting...

Opinion: I've had an exposed ankle peg on one of my Texas A&M Barbie Ken dolls (actually my daughter plays with it) and the ankle/foot is still attached. The FR doll peg, to me had to be flimsy and exposed to begin with or the peeps working the production line said (bleep) it and packed him that way. Which is why I will not accept a repair over brand new swap. However, Mattel at least mailed me a voucher to get another A&M and I ended up buying several more (without issues) when Walmart had a sale. FR body...nice design but I'm not seeing quality match price. It feels like you're paying to say you have a label. 😒

I'm actually hoping for great success for Mattel in 2016 with all the newly articulated dolls. It's slow coming but they are listening and customer support has integrity and that's what matters to me. I hope moving forward...more diversity with Ken, continued HD bodies or new/better design and I will stick with what works.

For those attending the Integrity Toys Convention in Chicago, I'll be at the bazaar Friday night with handmade items from YokoDolls, the sweetest person and clothing designer for Poppy, Nu Face or FR girls; and from Squish.tish by my dearest dolly friend, Joana, whose classic and retro designs are just meant for Poppy Parker dolls.

You can also find Bogostick Jewelry finally available for purchase. Lots of necklace sets in fall colors with bracelets to complete a look.

Hope to see you there, but if not, here are the links to all etsy stores:

Squish.tish: www.etsy.com/shop/squishtish

My store link, grand opening soon after the IT Convention:: www.etsy.com/shop/dollpologie

And a special mention to one last etsy store: Levitation Fashion, (www.etsy.com/shop/LevitationFashion?ref=ss_profile) by Nina, whose designs I can always depend on for a bohemian look to compliment my girls' hats, jewelry, etc.

My girls would have no clothes if it weren't for these three stores!

La Blanca is actually a bridal gown i created for the Wedding Essentials Bridal Expo at Eastwood, June 20-25, 2011... and coincidentally, tomorrow is the annual Philippine Toycon in Manila, and ill try to enter this gown, worn by another doll which was a repainted and restyled VV Rufus Blue, for the customized doll contest. Hope ill make it on time... LOLs.

La Blanca is made of two plied organza, embellished from shoulder to lower hips with cut glass, chalk beads and sequines in transparent to white, and ends in a mermaid volume skirt made of spiral organza ruffles.

I am not a die-hard Poppy fan, and I try to keep the few Poppy I have in my collection at that -- "a few". But this one grabbed my heart at first sight and I knew I had to bring her home. She is stunning in person and definitely a keeper.

Dynamite Girl & FR2 not shown

FR 1.0 (2001/2002) – The first body used in the line; you can easy spot these as the arms have no articulation and the hip joints can only move forwards and backwards.

FR 2.0 (2005) – Articulation in the elbow and the mid-upper arm was added to the body in 2005

FR-Tall (FR 3.0) (2007) – The ladies got longer legs and lost the mid-upper arm ability to spin. The forearm sculpt was also updated, give the models longer arms as well.

FR 4.0 “Handspeak”, the ability to remove and change hands, was added to the body type in 2011.

FR2 (FR 5.0) (2010) – The body got a complete (nearly?) makeover with a brand new silhouette that we now know and love.

FR2013 (2013) – The FR2 had a change to the knee joints in 2013, resulting in the FR2013 body, and became explodable in 2014.

FR6.0 (2017) – The sixth iteration of the Fashion Royalty body simply removed the waist joint.

My Girl From Integrity Poppy Parker had thick shiny glue on her forehead and one side of her face so I contacted Patient Care and they said they'd send me a replacement. When I got the replacement head, I was really happy to see she was free of glue residue, but I noticed she kept shedding long hairs on one side of her head. It seemed like every time I pulled one away, she had more hanging down. I carefully pulled her hair back and saw that her head was cracked open and that's why the hair kept coming out. I wrote to Patient Care and they told me unfortunately they didn't have any more replacements and that I didn't need to bother shipping this head back as it could not be repaired. Luckily they had allowed me to keep the old head until the new head arrived so I still had one with proper hair. I ended up removing the glue on that head with acetone even though I knew it was going to strip her blush off because the glare on her face made photos really frustrating.

Since she was headed for the bin anyway, I thought I'd experiment with this head and see if anything could be done with it. I very gently removed all of her hair and saw that the rooting machine had just gone nuts on her head. Her entire partline was being held in only by the hair - the vinyl was totally severed. She had deep cracks over her left ear and at the back of her head.

With help from my dad (who nicknamed her "Head Wound Harriet"), I repaired her head with 2-part epoxy. I had to use a chopstick to push her head into shape while it dried because it really wanted to cave in on the side. The epoxy filled in the cracks and held everything together but it looked pretty terrible. After attempting a wig (it was too big) I decided to try flocking. So here she is with burgundy flocking from Restoredoll. Flocking is pretty fun! Huge thanks to EmiliaCouture for the amazing tutorial:

Anyways, this was just to show the repair process in case it's helpful to anyone. Her head isn't quite the perfect shape but as my sister likes to say, "It's better than when it started" This is by no means meant to complain about or put down Integrity. This was a flaw that would have been impossible to see without pulling Poppy's hair back and because her hair style was meant to be shellacked down, there really wasn't any reason for Patient Care to do that :)

The photos show the crack I could see with her hair still on her head, all the damage visible after removing her hair, her head epoxied back together, the first layer of flocking and the final look after 3 layers of flocking.
