My first ever Elyse....something about this girl told me she was finally the one to join my collection (I've appreciated Elyse but could never find one meant for me). I was overjoyed when this girl changed from a lottery doll to one I didn't have to fight for!
Earrings: Integrity Toys (came with Elyse)

This finally arrived & the inside of the packaging is so pretty, I had to take a photo. I hope I can get the luggage out without doing a lot of damage. It came with two of those moisture absorbing packs which for some reason, they glued to the box. The glue was brown & really unattractive, so I wanted it out. It took me a while to get it off, but I finally did. No idea why they glued them in like that.

The new Poppy on the block. I LOVE this one............she has such an air of sophistication about her.

Unloading limestone in Port Cartier, that stacker in the background is actually shooting off the cargo we're running into the hopper (silo-looking thing)
To me, this seemed like the epitome of a Victorian iron bridge built during the industry revolution.
Female Icon Dasha. I really wanted her for her outfit, but the fact that she had a chignon and could look good in vintage wear was a plus as well. I like her much more in hand than I thought I would.
Theme Rules:
This theme is all about discovering oversized objects in our miniature dolly worlds. From absurdly large everyday replicas found in dolly dioramas to glamorous fashion shoots featuring jumbo furniture and accessories, there are many ways to tip the 1/6 scale scale! Think whimsical fashion editorials filled with jumbo flowers, gigantic hair bows, and out of scale chairs. Think playful beach themed photoshoots with six-scoop ice cream cones, oversized sunglasses, and supersized frozen daiquiris. Or perhaps your doll is part of a fantastical scene where she is literally stepping in or out of a storybook or picture frame. Whether enchanting or humorous, there’s always room for these extra large items. Show us how even the tiniest of dolly universes can be larger than life!
About this photo:
I tried a few other ideas for this theme, and nothing was coming out the way I planned. Since the end of the month is approaching, I decided to settle on this "simpler" idea. X-MEN's Psylocke plays model for a day with pretty oversized pink flowers as her X-Large props. A glimpse of her demure side.

Dynamite Girl & FR2 not shown
FR1 (2001/2002) – The first body used in the line; you can easy spot these as the arms have no articulation and the hip joints can only move forwards and backwards.
FRA (2005) – Articulation in the elbow and the mid-upper arm was added to the body in 2005
FR-Tall (2007) – The ladies got longer legs and lost the mid-upper arm ability to spin. The forearm sculpt was also updated, give the models longer arms as well. “Handspeak”, the ability to remove and change hands, was added to the body type in 2011.
FR2 (2010) – The body got a complete (nearly?) makeover with a brand new silhouette that we now know and love.
FR2013 (2013) – The FR2 had a change to the knee joints in 2013 resulting in the FR2013 body, and became explodable in 2014.
FR6.0 (2017) – The sixth iteration of the Fashion Royalty body simply removed the waist joint.
Otis in fhe Technik Museum Speyer. It sort of looks like he is inside a large machine. Fitting with the theme. I tried to frame it as if it were a large machine. Imperial walker anyone?
INTEGRITY:
The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.
The condition of being unified, unimpaired, sound in constructional structure, and internal consistency.
I have been hurt many times by people who don’t practice righteous integrity, including a love one. But, that doesn’t stop me from trying hard of being a person of integrity.
How about you?
