Poor instructor. He had to take up a complete newbie who didn't speak a whole lot of english, thus "Let it go!" turned into "Bleh I'm gonna trip you now."
April 19, 2016: Ceramics Program Instructor and Artist-In-Residence Salvador Jiménez-Flores led students in the course "Time Travel with the Vessel Form" on an interdisciplinary sculpture odyssey! From the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology storage to view objects from the museum's collection (www.flickr.com/gp/harvardarts/9Ac3A3) to a final exhibition of some of the finished works, it has been quite a journey!
My instructor Fred is setting up the hang gliding machine that is amazingly simple and lightweight. He taught me gliding lessons before we jump off the cliff in tandem. He first sets up the tripod frame, open up the "wings", insert the metal ribs, wheels and tie up a couple of strings. He taught me many things but the only thing i can remember when i jump is......hold on to his harness.
