Red Cross Babysitter Training is a one or two day course instructing 11-15 year-olds on how to care for infants and children. During Day 1, participants learn the basics of caring for infants and children. This includes holding, feeding, diapering and basic first aid. During Day 2, participants learn how to conduct Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on infants and children. They also learn how to perform back blows and abdominal thrusts should a child in their care start to choke.

Samnaun is Switzerland's only duty free zone and is located in a side valley of the Engadin. For 35 years now, the ski areas Samnaun has merged with the world-famous ski destination Ischgl. The ski areas has been voted "best ski resort" of the alps in winter 2015/16 by 52'000 skiers on snowplaza.de. Samnaun is pleased to welcome the ski instructors from all over the world.

LBCC Community Education instructor Cindy Slone lost 150 pounds and now works as a personal trainer helping others make healthy lifestyle changes. Starting this fall, she will teach a new class for LBCC called “Moving Mountains” that will focus on choices concerning diet, nutrition, fitness and weight management. In this album, she coaches Albany resident Nicole Miles through at training session at Downing’s Gym in Corvallis. Miles has been training with Slone for a month and so far lost 40 pounds.
