Instead of boring old Christmas cards, this year I sent a Polaroid of myself and my broken wrist wrapped in Christmas lights to my friends.
Everyone who got one had a smile on their face.

I had to come to a very sudden stop on the interstate today due to stupid drivers rubbernecking a crash, and my camera went flying into the floor at way too forceful of speed. I got home and the photos were not ejecting, and I almost started crying thinking this dumb moment today was the end of this polaroid camera, but upon changing out to new film, it survived. Smooth as butter. My little purple survivor of flying into the car depths.
The drivers here are literally so dumb. Another dumb thing is PMS. bye bye

i took this at [gorilla] arm's length with my 24-135mm lens on manual focus. oh yes.
This is the process that I am currently experimenting with for the extraction of a "negative" from the Fuji Instant packfilm. If you use them, and discover anything good or better, please share your discoveries, as i am continuing to experiment.

A got a box of 20 shots of Polaroid Type 53 as I ended up with a 545 holder that was included in a bunch of 4x5 sheet film holders. Only mod the Harman Titan Pinhole needed was to slacken off the screws on the holder springs. Bit disappointed in the cheap nasty screws they used. Stainless might have been nicer than these soft metal jobs.
New55 PN Instant Film detail. Only the very blackest areas reversed, but the edge effects are still apparent. New55 Film ISO 100 processing time 2'.
I have been missing SX-70 a lot lately. So I decided to get out one of my favorites. I shot this one with my original model SX-70. I really hope that the impossible project is successful in creating a new analog integral film, so that I can still use all of my SX-70s again!
