Inter-Gen 23 showcases work made in Armory classes by children, teens, and adults created at the Armory and at community partner sites across the region. Inter-Gen 2023 highlights work created by teens and older adults in the Armory"s off-site programs. Teens explored a variety of media including Aerosol and Sticker Art at our artWORKS site with teaching artist Sergio Hernandez. Programming at artWORKS is provided in partnership with Learning Works Charter School. Teens at Camp Afflerbaugh engaged in a Foundation Drawing and Painting Class led by Jocelyn Casas and Joe Galarza, a project in partnership with the L.A. County Probation Department. Older adults enthusiastically participated in online Mixed Media Casses and in person at Jackie Robinson Center through a partnership with the City of Pasadena Parks, Recreation, and Community Service Department. Classes were led by teaching artists Heather Hillard and Aldonia Bailey who inspired them to create a series of personal, colorful, expressive pieces.
