This is Kedi's new favorite spot since the weather is getting colder. It's next to the heater, you see. The lamp had to compete for the spot...quess who won? Hint: one of them got smashed to pieces.
i bought this plain white paper lamp from ikea for something like 2,5 euro.
I used watercolours to paint it, then i found this little basket that had fake flowers in it, used yellow thread to hang it from the lamp, printed a boy and a girl and put them inside the basket!!

An amazing place...Southwark Cathedral.
It's fantastic that photography is permitted inside (for a nominal donation) - a bit of a rarity for a London cathedral. Well worth a look around if you're ever passing by.
*Spoiler* :P
"The name of the game is breaking you in front of them. I'll slide my dick down your throat and make you thank me for it... Then they'll fall in line...

"Don't do this, you can't!"
"You have fifty fucking men surrounding you! FIFTY! Sit the fuck down right now or you all die! Anyone moves at all... Cut the boy's other fucking eye out and feed it to the girl.
You can breathe... You can blink... You can cry... You're all going to be doing that."
"Please... Please don't..."

"Holy shit... He's taking it like a champ! You in there buddy? I just don't know. Seems like you're trying to speak, but you just took a hell of a hit. I cracked your skull so much that your fucking eye popped out. It's gross as shit...

After the casting of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan on the show, I decided I just had to make something to celebrate, because I'm fucking excited. So, this is what emerged. Be sure to leave a comment if you favourite, and enjoy!
I was looking for a place for a great HDR photoshoot. I think I found it here. This is the Bradbury Building in Los Angeles Downtown. It is located at the corner of 3rd St. and Broadway.
It was built towards the end of the 19th century and was used in shooting great old fillms like Bladerunner, Chinatown, Wolf, Lethal Weapon 4 just to name a few.
It's haunted since some people reported seeing ghosts.
The building is still being used by tenants and visitors are only allowed up to the first flight of stairs. The two old elevators are still working but only for use by the tenants.
I was with my wife Emi and you could see her on top of the stairs with her camera.
I like the color version too but finally decided to go for the black and white.
I have always been a fan of photographing trains from inside of buildings and what is a better place to do it than an old interlocking tower? One of the troubles with photographing through a window is evenly lighting the room and matching it to what’s out that window. What I found to work best is to use off-camera flashes. This helps reduce window-glare and it puts the photographer in complete control of the light (at least on the interior). In this instance, I used AC Tower in Marion, Ohio, which still stands as a popular railfan hangout. Former tower operator, Peter “Pete” White, was nice enough to pose in the structure just as he did when he controlled AC Interlocking. The nearly 110 year old structure has the original, functioning interlocking board, equipped with the levers for signals and switches. Of course, the tower is not connected to any tracks, today, but it is still fun to pretend like it is!

Good morning. Something a bit different for a change, being shots I took inside and antique mall/store this past weekend. Purpose of the trip was to find a coat rack and some china for flickr friend Paige, which I unfortunately failed on in both cases. But the owners were kind enough to allow me to take pictures while in the store. Only problem was I didn't dare bring along a tripod so all shots were hand held in spite of having to use a slow shutter speed since I hate using a flash. As a result only about a dozen or so photos turned out well of approxomately 100 taken.
These are the first two images I'll be posting randomly over the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy them when it's all done. And if you've never taken the time to look for photo opportunities in an antique store you ought to. Especially since great care is given to some of the displays (as above) and there are some very interesting items to be found and photographed...which you'll see in some future pictures. Not forgetting that it can be a lot of fun perusing an antique store.
Take care...and I hope everyone has a great day.

Surely this photo was shot inside the Inside-out Building, or Lloyd's of London. This is a structure using the architectural design called Bowellism, a design which the services for the building, such as ducts and lifts, are located on the exterior to maximize interior space.
Lloyd's of London is classified as a statutory listed building. A listed building may not be demolished, extended, or altered without permission from town planning authority.
Recently there is rumor that the building has been sold to Chinese insurance group Ping An Insurance for £260M.

I have decided to change her name to isobel (bailey can be her middle name), it just suites her better and I would like my "dream" doll (who I will not own for a long time no doubt) to be named bailey. bailey is the name of my little dog also. <33
Made for my sons and husband to take to a pot-luck dinner with their sailing buddies. I had no end of trouble getting these to look nice outlined! My sons thought using sugar for the sand was a cool idea, and were generally very happy with the cookies.
Sorry, stupid title. But the first time I heard Berliner Dom, I just thought it sounded like been there, done (that). Anyway, this Berlin Dome is very very cool. A huge church inside that is basically a giant dome, and just as cool outside too. Don't have much to say about it other than I was thoroughly impressed.

Casa Batlló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
Back to Barcelona for todays upload. This was taken last year when I had my old A77 and the trusty old Sigma 10-20, looking back at these images reminds me how much better my A99 is with the Zeiss glass, in a complete different league and well chuffed I made the leap to FF and invest in some decent glass.
This is one of the rooms inside the Casa Batllo, which was designed by the awesome architect Gaudi. This type of architecture is referred to as 'Organic Architecture' due its organic nature. Gaudi was so far ahead of his time and you often see this type of architecture replicated in modern buildings today.

Location Information
Casa Batlló (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkazə βəʎˈʎo]) is a renowned building located in the heart of Barcelona and is one of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces. Casa Batlló is a remodel of a previously built house. It was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that. Casa Batlló evokes the creativity and playfulness of Gaudí’s work through the incrassate facades and creative floors. Gaudí's assistants Domènec Sugrañes i Gras, Josep Canaleta and Joan Rubió also contributed to the renovation project.
The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality. It was originally designed for a middle-class family and situated in a prosperous district of Barcelona.
The building looks very remarkable — like everything Gaudí designed, only identifiable as Modernisme or Art Nouveau in the broadest sense. The ground floor, in particular, is rather astonishing with tracery, irregular oval windows and flowing sculpted stone work.
It seems that the goal of the designer was to avoid straight lines completely. Much of the façade is decorated with a mosaic made of broken ceramic tiles (trencadís) that starts in shades of golden orange moving into greenish blues. The roof is arched and was likened to the back of a dragon or dinosaur. A common theory about the building is that the rounded feature to the left of centre, terminating at the top in a turret and cross, represents the lance of Saint George (patron saint of Catalonia, Gaudí's home), which has been plunged into the back of the dragon.
THe staircase inside our company. Pretty impressive look from the 9th floor. I wonder why i never realized it before as I am walkning it each day twice. Shot with my Galaxy S4
Took this idea from Photo Extremist . Is a very simple light painting using water drops over a CD. Trying to use the reflection on the drops to create the same paterns inside the drops.

After I cleaned and polished my hidden armory, my phone rung. I left it until it went to voice mail. It was Carmine Falcone, he told me to meet him outside of Gotham. Pondering for a while I came up with an answer. I headed towrds Falcone. My bike came to a stop as I looked side from side, I was a bit on the edge, Falcone can't always be trusted. As soon as I went in I was searched by armed guards, they took out every gun in my pockets, luckily they didn't see my wrist guns hidden underneath my sleave. "Mister Falcone, Deadshot hasd arrived." said the guard opening the door. I stepped in side the room, my eyes searched every corner. All that was there was just a bunch of old, posh, decorrated pillars. "Ahh, Mister Deadshot. I am so glad you could come" he said whilst reaching out his well groomed hand. I shook it, but said nothing. "Come sit. I have a very important mission for which I hope you'll accept." he opened up a draw from his desk, my heart stopped as I was ready to fire my wrist gun, it was only some doccuments; I could breathe again. "You see this man. His name is Mark Hammond, he was a cop, but a undercover agent for me. He used to miss lead the cops so they wouldn't get a hold of my weapons shipments. Now he has turned on me, five of my last shipments have been abushed by cops. I need him dead. But I need you to not leave any leads pointing to me. Are you in?"
"How much?" I said pretending that I was listening the whole time.
"See Deadshot, your reward isn't money, it's pretection."
"Pretection from what?" my heart rate rose again.
"There is another war coming in Gotham. Cobblepot isn't with you anymore. If you do this, I will give my best weapons and men through out the war."
Although Falcone is a cheap, lying, scammer; he had a good offer. "I'll do it."
"And I hope you do it right. Here," he gave me some of the papers from the documents "here is a list of places your target will be this month. And if you don't succeed, you will be on your own."
Hope you like it :D
I am back from camping and I have some photos which I will upload soon.
I'm tiiiiired of studying...
It's a sleepless night, she's callin' your name.
And when she calls your name, my sweet Johnny B, you can drive all night and you know she'll be waiting to love you again, her kiss is her poison, forever inside you, wherever you go...
Next Saturday, my partner David and I will be celebrating our civil partnership: another two gay men recording our love and commitment to each other. Nothing that should alarm any sane person. Yet, while the politicians and church debate that “this isn’t a marriage” with a degree of hate-mongering rhetoric knocking about, equally it’s clear to me that old wedding traditions don’t apply either.
A skype camera at Wandsworth town hall will film the event so Mum and Dad can watch in Australia, as no religion is involved the words will be our own, and the food afterwards will be simply what we want to eat. So as much as I admire the traditional iced fruit cake in the abstract, when it’s our ceremony I can think of many other cakes I’d rather choose.
So I thought I'd share the recipe for our cake with you, in this Saturday’s Guardian Weekend Magazine, 23rd June 2012. It's a coconut layer cake with a mascapone frosting
