Not sure what it is , any input from insects lovers out there? Finally got it it , it's a longhorn bee .

Male ruddy marsh skimmer, scarlet skimmer or crimson darter (Crocothemis servilia) is native to east and southeast Asia. It breeds in marshes associated with ponds, rivers and tanks. The flight season is throughout the year.

Location: Indirapuram, U.P. India.

HBBBT everyone! These guys have ruined my hellebores but I find myself forgiving them because they are quite cute, really!

They were swarming over a Tower of Jewels flower gathering its abundance of pollen. It has an enormous bloom of thousands of small flowers on a spike that is often four or more feet tall. The petals of the flowerets that are lower on the the spike drop off but the remaining parts are still active.

Family: Miridae

 

This genus is fairly distinctive, with long first antennal segments and hind femora. It is distinguished from P. ulmi by the hairs on the first segment of the antennae being shorter than its width. Low down amongst clover at Brown's Folly nature reserve, near Bath, UK.

An Ivy bee Colletes hederae feeding of course on ivy flowers. First time I've seen this bee species

Green fly - Was not getting any bug to photograph on this particular day and was unhappy... Then saw this little creature... on the leaf. Above my head's height. Stretched my tripod and kept elbow on it and tried to shoot.. Leaf was moving due to slight wind... but got a manageable shot.. The bug looked too good through the lens :-) Hope you enjoyed the shot... Kenko extension tubes + 100mm macro lens .

Check out those extra eyes between its antennae -- looks like a little alien face.
