I hope you're all not sick to death of these insect cuppies, but here's some more!

DD D'arcy had a class party today, which she told me about yesterday afternoon. The only thing I could do was take some left over cup cakes out of the freezer and decorated them as quick as I could. I wanted to do something different so I used up some spare pink fondant I had rather than use any more or my precious red.

These are so popular I think I may be making more. What colour next? Maybe blue?

A nice display of purple spring flowers attracts the early arriving hoverflies seeking out the pollen. This image was photographed in my garden.

The crambid moth Euchromis californicalis on a porchlight in Tucson, Arizona. Very similar in appearance to E. ocella,. Both species are known from Arizona.

Small stationary Insect on a Green Door

A well-camouflaged stick insect on a creosote bush, at night in the southeastern Arizona desert. (I think Diapheromera sp.)
