Y'all had better not be starting to fizzle out, unless you want to get served!

Second build for the ABS Season 2 Finale using the Silver Goblet of Destiny, which was used over fifty times in the build. The build is also to tie in with a storyline collab with Captain Braunsfeld in the Brethren of the Brick Seas.

Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!

Sometimes when there are no interesting birds to be found it is worth taking the scenery.

Thank you, my kind Flickr friends, for visiting my site and taking the time to leave a comment. Truly appreciated!

The Satellite Inn in Alamagordo, New Mexico. Alamagordo is home to the Holloman Air Force Base and the nearby White Sands Missile Range, hence the name of this establishment. However, that sculpture on top of the sign looks to me like a model of an atom, not a satellite! Nevertheless, it does make the sign, don’t you think?

Not sure what else you could possibly ask for, from a view while eating lunch. What a picturesque place this really is.

This was the view to the rear of the Inn and Ritsons Bar but the view to the front was just as stunning.

The food was good old fashioned pub food with the focus on quality and taste.

The boat inn at Hayton, near Retford on the chesterfield canal.

This was the shot from the Dixie Inn that made it worth the barking dog for me. After doing a few lighting tests, I noticed the projection that was occurring on the left side of the building. That ended up becoming the focal point of my mission to photograph this night photographer favorite.

The inn is a hotel and complex of cottages on Highway 1 near Gualala California. Topped with onion-shaped domes, its wooden-shingle buildings pay homage to the Russian fur traders who came to the area in 1812 and established a settlement at Fort Ross. The designs are the creation of Eric Black, one of the innkeepers. His colleagues include Ted Black and chef Rosemary Campiformio, who -notes - forages for mushrooms for her guests.

The property began as a seaside hotel in 1929. Eric Black and his partners bought it in 1971, and began to rebuild the next year using salvaged redwood and Douglas fir. There are currently eight rooms in the hotel, where the restaurant is located, as well as five meadow cottages and seven creekside cottages along St. Orres Creek. (The creek's slightly altered name came from the George St. Ores family, who emigrated from Nova Scotia and settled the area in the 1870s.)

We survived the historic rain/snow storm of 2023 with only several leaks that need to be repaired but we ended up with a rainbow shining over us. Thank you mom and dad for the sign of encouragement.

I shot this from Beehive Geyser. I have always stayed at the Old Faithful Inn when I went to Yellowstone.

I like staying there because I can walk to the geysers in the Upper Geyser Basin, and they are among the top ones in the park.

Today is door and window day. This is one I thought I posted almost a year ago but I hadn't. So here's a door at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside, California.

Over the last 9 months, with some crazy life stuff going on, ive had very little chance to add to flickr. The main thing taking my build time though, was this behemoth. It was originally designed by Corvus Auriac MOCs for a client as a digital commission, before it came to me for re-engineering and a set of buildable instructions designed for it. This was such an amazing and grand project, starting at 12,000approx pieces, and ending with a grand total of 18,500approx once the interiors, modularisation and landscaping was done. I designed removable frames for the left and right edges, so its able to continue on, should the grand new owner decide it needs further landscape/town. it came to a total of 1697 pages for the instruction booklet. Quite a hefty and ultra enjoyable project and super pumped to have been brought on board for it! All the parts were sourced in one order by Aussie Brickster, on Bricklink.. it has been such a great and international team effort!

I think I should have shaved. But 'routine' seems to have been the first victim of retirement and living in the back o' beyond. But I'm optimistic of a leading role in a Disney movie called "The Penguin and the Goat Hunter", given that most of Hollywood has gone on strike, apparently.

An updated guarded inn-style build. The roof was built with a modified version of Sean and Steph's found here.
