The Artist Inn is a Victorian house converted Bed and Breakfast. As the name suggests, its all bout the artists. Each room is theme to the style and mood of the artist it is called. All organic products, from butter to shampoo. Jet baths, heated toilet floor, heated TOILET SEATS! I dont know about you but it was a taste of luxury for me. Though a bit pricey, it felt like a bargain for the royalty treatment :)
The Pelican Inn near Muir Beach is R and my favorite chill out "wish we were in England" pub. It is so splendid to leave the heat and bust over to this little Tudor delight.

The Iconic and Historic U-Drop Inn was built in 1936 to serve Travelers along The Mother Road. It held two separate business: The "Tower Gas
Station", and the "U-Drop Inn". Today the Gas Station and U-Drop Inn is preserved as a museum and looks much like it did in the hay day of the Mother Road. The U-Drop Inn and Tower Gas Station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
We visited Cape Cod as part of a road trip taken in September 2018. This was a first for us in spite of being born and raised in Connecticut. We drove staight to Provincetown, a 10 hour drive, where we spent 2 nights. This gave us one full day to explore. Winds were high so we confined ourselves to seeing things on foot.
We spent two nights at Charm Inn which was walking distance into town. Our room was more than adaquate, the light breakfast was great, and the innkeeper was helpful. We'll stay there again during a future visit.
A word about the culture in Provincetown. We were well aware of it before venturing up there and, frankly, it doesn't bother us in the least. The flags at Charm didn't bother me BUT I would have preferred to see an American flag flying from the flagpole since we're all Americans.
