This "Hog" was parked in front of my neighbor's house - had to shoot it on a drive-by in case the owner was a big burly dude with a handlebar mustache and Popeye forearms!

Got my meningitis jab the day before yesterday, and its still rather painful! apparently this should go down after 48 hours, but I'm past that point now. Either my immune system is too good, or not good enough.

Tonight, I'm taking a moment off by opting out of a few events I normally would have attended. Given another day, I'll back to the grind, working on an art report for Warholian about 111 Minna's current art show, "Lethal Injection", featuring works by Robert Bowen, Isaac Pierro, Nicolas Giraud (100taur), Philip Lawson, and Ransom & Mitchell.

(in this photo: Philip Lawson and Robert Bowen await their turn to speak about the artwork they created for Lethal Injection)

An injection that contains the hormone progestin, which is administered every 12 to 13 weeks. The injection prevents the ovaries from releasing an ovum each month, causes the linking of the uterus to thin and makes the cervical mucous thicker.

The Up Side:

The injection is only taken 4 times a year and it is reversible. About 50% experience amenorrhea (their periods stop) and there is a decreased risk of endometrial cancer.

The Down Side:

The injection does not protect against STIs. You also need to get an injection every 12 to 13 weeks. Common side effects include irregular bleeding and weight gain. There is also a risk of decreased bone density and return to fertility after stopping the injections can take longer than with other birth control

methods. The injection must be administered by a medical professional.

Efficacy: 99.7%

Typical use: 97%

Cost: About $35-$45 per injection.

The original 2.5 litre injection model was the late MKI 2500PIof 1968, it should have been a decent car but the Lucas injection system wasn't great and lead to a poor reputation. The MKII "Innsbruck" appeared in 68 and the 2500 was made available with twin carbs, but the PI inexplicably remained in production until April 1975 and shortly after was replaced by the twin carb 2500S.

So should we call at a 2.5PI or a 2500 injection? well I've always thought the MKI was 2.5PI and MKII the 2500 injection, but it seems the MKII carried both 2.5PI and 2500 injection badging at one point, so take your pick.

I believe this one's wearing the rims from the 2500S, I much prefer the Rostyle wheel trims found on the PI and early Stag, which in turn came from the Vitesse.

H hates needles! They had to poke her twice, actually, I guess because they missed the vein in her elbow they tried again in her hand. I didn't just take pictures the whole time, either. I would have held her hand, but there was no room so I held her foot!

Pesticide injection holes in palm stems never heal (monocots do not produce wound periderm as do dicots).

The holes allow wound pathogens to infect, such as the plant-pathogenic fungus, Chalara paradoxa.

The needle is passed through the junction of the middle and outer third of the inferior orbital rim, then straight back below the eye for 15 mm. The needle should be parallel to the floor of the orbit and angled down.
