It's been a busy day, so a late contribution to Fence Friday and to those of you who still have some Friday remaining, I wish you a Happy Friday and an excellent weekend ahead! HFF!
Taipei 101 has been my major theme of shooting since I brought my DSLR. The reason is because it is our local landmark and I can shoot it from many angles during each season. This shooting spot is one of the best during winter.
我真的還蠻專心在拍101的，因為這是我們台北的地標，也是我可以一年四季常常去拍的題材，在各個季節，從不同的角度。像成功橋，就是冬季最佳攝點之一。

mr.G drove slowly on the leftmost lane. i dialled in my settings, started live view, wrapped the camera strap around my wrist and held the camera outside the window pressed onto the windshield. as we were driving under each pylon, i checked framing and shot in bursts.
the symmetry wasn't -- and isn't -- perfect, but i improved it a bit by distorting and puppet-warping the left side of the image.

(Bahrebachmühlenviadukt) Zwischen 2000 und 2002 wurden die unteren Brückenpfeiler entfernt und gegen ein breiteres Bauelement ausgetauscht. Während dieser Zeit wurde die Brücke mittels einer automatischen Hydraulik mit 400 Sensoren stabil gehalten. - Between the years 2000 and 2002 the lower parts of the bridge pillars were removed and replaced by a new wider element. During this time the hole bridge was hold stable by an automatic hydraulic system with 400 sensors.

An image made during that wonderful time of the evening and morning we call twilight. Although, some of the other terms describing the general period, like 'magic hour' or 'magic light' might make more sense to a photographer.
Now and then, I try to remember to actually photograph in black and white, like the good old days. At least I think they were good.
