I was able to time my trip home from Santa Cruz last week just as the storm was breaking and decided to have some fun with long exposures as the the light was striking through and fog creeping in behind me. Hope you enjoy!
The River has reached flood stage now. Hesco baskets and sandbags are being filled. A levee patrolman was ordering people not to go between the Hesco baskets and the river. I'm not sure if he thought the river might suddenly rise 20 feet, or whether he was just afraid a person might chose his area to go swimming in the current.

I love Coming home from vacation, when i pass the belgian-dutch border, everything is so smooth, no putholes, nog worm lines.
