oh my !!!!!!!!!
this is the highest point on the bridge , and it means high winds and breathtaking scenery..
there is a little tiny island to the left of this bridge that is for sale.. you could see the sign from here "for sale, with deck and peir " .. it has an awesome pier, but cannot see a house anywhere ! :0
The growing popularity of Penarth beach and the need for better communications with Cardiff led to the Cardiff Steam and Navigation Company starting a regular ferry service between Cardiff and Penarth in 1856, which continued until 1903. Boats were loaded and unloaded at Penarth using a landing stage on wheels which was hauled up the beach.[1]
In the 1880s an attempt was made to construct a permanent pier, because of the need to find a safer way to unload larger boats. However, construction ground to a halt at an early stage when the London-based contractors went into liquidation.[1]
With Jubilee Bridge and South Beach Towers fully completed.

A sunrise that lacked a certain woomph but it means I will keep revisiting until I'm satisfied.
Sun rise meant to happen at 4.52am according to The Photographer's Ephemeris; the shot was taken at 5:40am.
By that time all the night lights had been turned off.
Taipei 101 has been my major theme of shooting since I brought my DSLR. The reason is because it is our local landmark and I can shoot it from many angles during each season. This shooting spot is one of the best during winter.

This is a recent image from a hectic shoot that, once again, almost turned to failure when the San Francisco Bay blurred over suddenly a few minutes after this image. No complaints, though. While this is certainly a challenging game, it definitely can be rewarding.
Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate the support!

Taken from the front seat of Kennywood’s Jack Rabbit. I’m at a pretty good clip here, and it’s the part where you’re scared and elated just after you’ve gone through the “floating” bit. I’m proud of my camera for focusing on what I was aiming for, the nadir of the dip.
