Andermatt, 3FEB2020 - Winter Influencer Summit: Host city destination day. Snowshoe Hike.

But is it a gaijin influence? Kyoto is the only place in Japan were there are many restaurants along the banks of a river. In my city, despite the fact that there is a river running through its centre there is only one cafe and no restaurants on its banks and the one cafe does not afford a river view.

Kyoto is the exception but then Kyoto is also the second biggest tourist attraction in Japan (after Tokyo) which has presumably been influenced by Western culture. Western tourists may have promoted the construction of restaurants along side this river. I think that other cities may find increased tourism if they followed suit.

I found that Kyoto citizens had a habit of ignoring red pedestrian traffic signals when there are no cars coming. Japanese pedestrians wait, as is the law, even if there are no cars in other parts of Japan. I wonder if the this Kyoto dwellers behaviour is influenced by gaijin too.

Forty one Latino influencers from the industries of Hispanic advertising, PR, film, music and blogging gathered in L.A. for a special Hispanicize 2013 Breakfast Meet Up October 6 at the Grove's trendy restaurant Planet Dailies.

The networking event was sponsored by Sprint and was co-hosted by the Hispanic Public Relations Association, PRODU and Latin Heat Media.

During the meet up attendees learned about how they could get involved with Hispanicize 2013 and they also heard from two Latino influencers about important projects they have launched.

Writer/producer Rick Najera encouraged participants to vote for California's Proposition 38 (www.Iam38.org) an initiative that guarantees proper state funding for schools. Voters will decide Proposition 38's fate in the November election.

Latino Hollywood pioneer Bel Hernandez, founder of Latin Heat Media (www.LatinHeat.com), told attendees about her new ground breaking show for Latinas ¡HOLA L.A.! The TV show just debuted Sundays on KCAL-TV, Ch. 9 and is notable because it is the first and only English Language TV talk show with a Latina POV (think "The View meets Latina).

Aunt EA tried to be a bad influence on Molly by giving her an LSU shaker.

Temperature changes may influence fish populations both directly, through shifts to areas with preferred temperature, and indirectly through the food supply and the occurrence of predators. The length of the ice-free period in the Arctic, for example, affects annual primary production, which is the basis of the food chain supporting populations of fish, sea mammals, and seabirds. As the amount of ice in the Arctic has considerably reduced since the 1970s, and projections indicate that the reduction will continue, it seems likely that primary production in the Arctic will increase during this century. This chart presents the relationship between annual primary production and the ice-free period based on measurements from several sites in the Arctic.

Event 6: Trust and Social Influence

Friday, February 17 at 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM.

As individuals, communities and organisations evolve and embrace social as an integral part of their everyday online habits, the nature of what they say

and do, and the effect it has on the people around them is increasingly being viewed as a strategically important part of doing business. With wide-spread use

of user generated content, online ratings & reviews guides, recommendations & referrals systems, and feedback & comments features, the rise of socially

influential online content, individuals and organisations is transforming the way that you do business. Finding these people and organisations, and

understanding the psychology of their influence, is a key step for everyone who wants to develop this and benefit from it.
