In homage to the influence of nature on Art and Literature I've layered an old manuscript texture on the leaves. I used 'Overlay' as my blending mode and added a layer mask to paint out some of the texture on the principle leaf. Back in Lightroom I adjusted tonality, contrast and clarity. I think the texture adds to the overall 'story' of the photo, although in this case it may be a bit too literal.

Monterey Bay Aquarium is a nonprofit public aquarium in Monterey, California. Known for its regional focus on the marine habitats of Monterey Bay, it was the first to exhibit a living kelp forest when it opened in October 1984. Its biologists have pioneered the animal husbandry of jellyfish and it was the first to successfully care for and display a great white shark. Early proposals to build a public aquarium in Monterey County were not successful until a group of four marine biologists affiliated with Stanford University revisited the concept in the late-1970s. Monterey Bay Aquarium was built at the site of a defunct sardine cannery and has been recognized for its architectural achievements by the American Institute of Architects. Along with its architecture, the aquarium has won numerous awards for its exhibition of marine life, ocean conservation efforts, and educational programs.
Monterey Bay Aquarium receives around two million visitors each year. It led to the revitalization of Cannery Row, and produces hundreds of millions of dollars for the economy of Monterey County. In addition to being featured in two PBS Nature documentaries, the aquarium has appeared in film and television productions.
When Monterey Bay Aquarium opened on October 20, 1984, it was the largest public aquarium in the United States. On opening day, 11,000 visited it and around 30,000 people attended the day's festivities. In reference to the disappearance of sardines (through overfishing), which caused the canneries to close, the aquarium said that "the fish are back!" Throughout the following year, 2.4 million people visited, which influenced assumptions about "the ability of marine life to entertain, educate, and promote a city." Within five years, it was reported in the Los Angeles Times that it was among California's most popular visitor attractions. By 1994, it was the most attended aquarium in the United States. For its design, EHDD was awarded a National Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects in 1988. The institute's state chapter in California gave the facility its Twenty-five Year Award in 2011 and, in 2016, it was awarded the national Twenty-five Year Award, described as "a benchmark and role model for aquariums everywhere."

Patients with Norwood Stage 3 or higher hair loss: The Norwood scale was popularized in the mid-70s, allowing documentation and standardization of hair loss and hair follicle density. The typical development of androgenic alopecia begins in the temporal and frontal zones. Later on, the hair loss begins at the crown of the head, until the bald area extends all over the top of the skull and a hair transplant Michigan specialist is consulted. The scale classifies baldness into the following types:
Type I: Receding hair imperceptibly or scarce on the front.
Type II: Hair loss through the temporal zone.

For types III to V there is a subdivision, known as variants A and V. In variant A the fall is concentrated only in near the forehead, while V is accompanied by hair loss in the crown.
Patients with stable hair loss: Hair transplantation is more successful when performed in patients with stable hair loss. In most patients, hair loss is due in large part to the follicular action of the hormone DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), because it causes injury to the hair follicle. However, when control of DHT levels is achieved, hair loss is called “stable”. This means that a greater loss of hair is very unlikely, or that hair loss has slowed down so significantly that Gradual changes in the hair follicle will occur in a few years, in this way hair transplantation is more likely to succeed.
Alopecia related to trauma: Not all hair loss is caused by DHT and testosterone fluctuations. Some forms of hair loss are related to traumas in the hair follicle and can occur as a result of burns, scars or other physical agents.
Men and women with trauma-related hair loss may be good candidates for hair transplantation once the lesions have completely healed.

Byzantine Architecture
The continuous influence from the East is strangely shown in the fashion of decorating external brick walls of churches built about the 12th century, in which bricks roughly carved into form are set up so as to make bands of ornamentation which it is quite clear are imitated from Cufic writing. This fashion was associated with the disposition of the exterior brick and stone work generally into many varieties of pattern, zig-zags, key-patterns &c.; and, as similar decoration is found in many Persian buildings, it is probable that this custom also was derived from the East. The domes and vaults to the exterior were covered with lead or with tiling of the Roman variety. The window and door frames were of marble. The interior surfaces were adorned all over by mosaics or frescoes in the higher parts of the edifice, and below with incrustations of marble slabs, which were frequently of very beautiful varieties, and disposed so that, although in one surface, the coloring formed a series of large panels. The better marbles were opened out so that the two surfaces produced by the division formed a symmetrical pattern resembling somewhat the marking of skins of beasts.
GALLERY OF THE CENTRAL BOHEMIAN REGION (GASK)
The gallery is housed in the unique premises of the former Jesuit College in Kutná Hora. The Jesuit College represents an important example of Early Baroque architecture influenced by Italian construction. It was declared a national cultural monument and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Czech state, and subsequently the Central Bohemian Region, decided to reconstruct this unique historical gem in order to promote culture and tourism in the region. The reconstruction proceeded in two phases. The objective was to establish an art institution where people could meet. The total cost was funded by the European Union (Regional Operational Programmes) and the Central Bohemian Region.
GASK is an institution whose collection and exhibitions are focused on the art of the 20th and 21th centuries. Temporary exhibitions are staged on two floors of three wings of the Jesuit College, and these premises also house a new permanent exhibition from the GASK collections titled “State of Mind / Beyond the Image“. GASK presents modern and contemporary art by way of exhibitions that are conceived sensitively and inspirationally. It continues on from the historical mission of the Jesuit College as a house of education by compiling its collection and exhibition programme on the basis of authentic testimonies and mediating their message in the form best understood be contemporary visitors.
But GASK is far more than just exhibitions. Visitors will be amazed by the Jesuit College‘s reconstructed premises and the beauty of its surrounding gardens. The newly furnished north wing has a loft conference hall, which is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. The modern fittings are a pleasant contrast to the sensitively preserved attic space. And because GASK also caters to its youngest visitors, an entire floor of the north wing is devoted to children. And if your visit of the exhibitions or the visual playrooms tires you out, you can get some rest in the gardens of the Jesuit College. This is a zone of peace and relaxation, complete with soothing water features. The gardens are on the visitors‘ tour routes around Kutná Hora, leading them to the gallery and the neighbouring Cathedral of St Barbara. The oldest structure in the entire GASK complex is in fact located in the gardens. It is called the staff house, which has also undergone a complete reconstruction. It contains a preserved Baroque three-flight staircase and unique Renaissance rib vaults on the ground floor. Its Gothic cellars and Baroque roof trusses on the first floor have also been preserved.
