My school has a woodshop class, and often students will make me "plaques" as seen here and I'll put them on display in my room. I love that they make me things. It helps to affirm that I am having a positive influence on them.
Completely hand sewn Holy plush for Holy's prize pack. I'm no expert on sewing but I think this looks pretty cool. Got to add teeth and legs and it'll be done.

I draped and sewed fabric around two bodies then manipulated the shape it hung in. I question the forever changing relationships people share. At the beginning of a relationship the fabric would have no creases or alterations but as history and time is taken, the fabric of life is influenced and repositioned in certain places to create a layered, some times hidden, flowing story. What if our clothing represented the life changes and alterations we as individuals have experienced?

Built in 1895-1896, this Japanese-influenced Arts and Crafts and Richardsonian Romanesque Revival-style building was designed by Joseph Warren Yost and Frank Packard to serve as the Columbus station of the Toledo and Ohio Central Railroad. The building served as a passenger station until 1930, and was modified in 1910 after suffering heavy damage in a fire. The building features a red brick exterior, a hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves, rough-hewn stone trim, a tall tapered central tower with a hipped roof featuring hipped wall dormers, modillions, and wide overhanging eaves, two lower octagonal towers with hipped roofs and wide overhanging eaves, one-over-one double-hung windows, a front porch with a hipped roof and doric columns, a rough-hewn stone base, and a one-story addition, built in 2007, at the southeast corner of the building. Inside, the building features a main waiting room with a barrel vaulted ceiling, marble-clad walls, decorative reliefs, wooden trim, and a balcony with a wooden balustrade, a skylight, and a marble floor. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. From 1931 until 2003, the building housed an office and shelter for Volunteers of America, and was rehabilitated after a fire in 1975. In 2006-2007, the building was rehabilitated under the direction of Moody Nolan to house the local headquarters of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 67, a firefighters' union.
