The build went really fast and everything worked correctly from the first moment I hooked up a USB cable.
Since the Infinity Standard layout mirrors the Happy Hacking Keyboard, I went with the CTRL ALT Nostalgia key cap set since I knew it had all the keys I needed in the correct profile.
I made it yesterday so I could wear it today for my Birthday. I HATE getting older but atleast I can wear a really great scarf.

INFINITY IV - CHAPTER 1
In a Desert Far Away
Rima followed many like herself who were the cows and bulls belonging to her wealthy master. The camel felt privileged to carry the Sheikha's first wife Asil, for the woman was gentle, delicate and light. Like the many wives of the Sheikha, the camels were also copious.
The sand of the Sinai desert burned hot in the noon sun, but soon they would arrive to the oasis to set up camp. They hoped to reach the Sharm el-Sheikh resort the next day. After all, they were modern and Sheikha Shamal had heard of the Uni- Chocolate. He had read there was a new place near the resort where you could taste this delicacy, and this promised also many magical delights for the entourage. Sheikha Shamal held in his hand the invitation which they had sent by courier, then tucked it away in the sack he had attached to the saddle.
Asil followed silently behind him, deep in thought. Life with Shamal had been nothing but filled with wonders, for it was not only about riches he bestowed upon her, but the love she felt for him in her heart. The other wives were distant from her and often jealous. She didn't want more but to feel freedom from the oppression of a harem like life; to be the one he cared for only. She touched Rima her camel, who had been one of the first presents she had received, and had now become the only companion she trusted besides Shamal.
'If only we could go together, to the Infinity Club, without all the others,' she thought. Rima seemed to read her mind, for she sped up and took her place next to Sheikha Shamal's Bull Camel Borak. As with Asil, she too was thinking of her mate.
Shamal smiled, and asked. 'Are you feeling well? We will stop soon, to get out of this sun.' Shading his eyes, he handed Asil the water bladder, and she took it from him. Hers was nearly empty. She had not told him yet, but she was pregnant and travel now took her strength. She was parched.
'Only a mile more to go, and then we can rest.' he added.

‘Infinity’ is an immersive environment project by Refik Anadol. Project is an integral part of artist’s ongoing ‘Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments’ which is a research on audio/visual installations by using the state called immersion which is the state of consciousness where an immersant’s awareness of physical self is transformed by being surrounded in an engrossing environment; often artificial, creating a perception of presence in a non-physical world.
In this project ‘infinity’ chosen as a concept,a radical effort to deconstruct the framework of this illusory space and transgress the normal boundaries of the viewing experience to set out to transform the conventional flat cinema projection screen into a three dimensional kinetic and architectonic space of visualisation by using contemporary algorithms.
Light is the major element in the experiment, used to blur and interconnect the boundaries between the two realms actual/fictional and physical/virtual. It signifies the threshold between the simulacrum space created by the projection technology, and the physical space where the viewer stands. The experiments will discuss the inherent spatial qualities of immersive virtual environments and their effect on the embodied person. Through the presented framework, the experiments intends to question the relativity of perception and how it informs the apprehension of our surroundings. Rather than approaching the medium as a means of escape into some disembodied techno-utopian fantasy, projects sees itself as a means of return, i.e. facilitating a temporary release from our habitual perceptions and culturally biased assumptions about being in the world, to enable us, however momentarily, to perceive ourselves and the world around us freshly.

An infinity pool on the rooftop of The Columbus - A Renaissance hotel, where the 2008 IDSA Mideast District conference took place. This was on the 4th floor and surrounded by tall buildings on all sides.
I like how the lines from the various buildings and the rooftop pavers interact in this image.
