84/365 Wednesday 25 March 2015 - Had the urge to make something and as I'm still low on energy it was a super quick infinity scarf with the voile from The Village Haberdashery. Not modelling because I'm rubbish at Selfies and I still look pasty.
Infinity scarves for my sister-in-law. Striped is a Hacci sweater knit from girlcharlee fabrics, the other is an Anne Klein silk bought as overstock from Pacific Fabrics in Seattle.

Heard something on the radio about infinity and finally got an idea for a picture. Did you know that there are as many odd numbers are there are total numbers?
Infinity Mirrored Room - Filled with the Brilliance of Life, 2011/2017
Entering this installation, you move along a reflective walkway over a shallow pool. Around you, tiny dots of light are repeated endlessly in the mirrors and water. The lights pulse, like a heartbeat or a ticking clock. Even while we experience infinite space, we are made aware of time passing.
The effects Kusama creates relate to her own visual hallucinations. Kusama has experienced these from early in her life. In them she becomes ‘obliterated’ by repeated dots. Here she invites us to share this ‘self-obliteration’. The dots surround and engulf you, making it hard to tell where you end and where the rest of the room begins. Usually, when we experience art, there’s a clear distinction between us and the artwork. But Kusama confuses this on purpose. To experience her mirror rooms, she asks us to become part of them.

Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirror Rooms

Tate presents a rare chance to experience two of Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Rooms. These immersive installations will transport you into Kusama’s unique vision of endless reflections.
Infinity Mirrored Room – Filled with the Brilliance of Life is one of Kusama’s largest installations to date and was made for her 2012 retrospective at Tate Modern. It is shown alongside Chandelier of Grief, a room which creates the illusion of a boundless universe of rotating crystal chandeliers.
A small presentation of photographs and moving image – some on display for the first time – provides historical context for the global phenomenon that Kusama’s mirrored rooms have become today.

I've been struggling with this theme all week. I have tried things with mirrors, long tunnels made from Lego and real tunnels, but none of them came out well.
So I've just had to take the easy way out with a picture of the inifinity symbol on my 17-85 lens.

Imagine a bridge on which you can walk and walk and walk. Without ever reaching the end. And in the most breathtaking scenery. This is exactly what you get, when you visit the wooden pier and work of art, The Infinite Bridge by Varna and Ballehage Beach in Aarhus. Originally, The Infinite Bridge (Den Uendelige Bro) was displayed in relation with the Sculpture By The Sea event in 2015. The people of Aarhus took to the work of art to such an extent that the Municipality of Aarhus contributed to reconstructing the bridge as a permanent piece of art – and an infinitely beautiful pier.
The Infinite Bridge has been created by architect Niels Povlsgaard and Johan Gjødes.
The circle shaped, wooden construction spans from the surf and out into Aarhus Bay, and it is a popular excursion spot for locals as well as tourists.

I made no resolutions this year because every year I want to do something I end up not doing it.
So this year I am just gonna start doing it if I feel like it or need to. I have infinity resolutions. So theoretically I will never reach it. so in that sense I start my 2nd 365, as I didnt finish my last one. I might not finish this one too but meh..i didnt make a resolution.
