For sure you have heard about the Inca Trail, which is one the most famous trek to get to Machu Picchu. The Inca Trail reaches selected points of the beautiful Inca sacred valley; unique for its amazing landscapes. This Trail takes between 4 to 5 days to be completed, is physically challenging and you need to camp in the Andean highlands to do it. Are you looking another way to do it? We have a comfortable 2 day Machu Picchu trek to travel as a group and still it will give you a rewarding perspective on how to get to such amazing ancient city full of legends. You won’t camp during the 2-day trek or hiking too much, instead, you will travel by Expedition train and enjoy the superb scenario of the Inca Valleys until you get to the station and then you will walk the trail and get to the 'Sun Gate'. The views from this panoramic landscape will encourage you to finish, this one in a lifetime experience. The best month of the year to travel is between May and September, however, you can do it during the other months but you can face some rain. Note: If you want to make the tour privately, you’ll enjoy a customized service during the whole tour. Let’s take a look:

Inca trail to Machu Picchu

We deliberately (and, well, 'cause we're slow) hiked behind the group the entire length of the hike. We didn't want to hike with other people, for starters. AND, this way, we got a personal guide, usually Cesar, who was assigned to the stragglers. On the last morning, though, we split off in the darkness and beat it to the Sungate. We were the first people there by twenty minutes of the hundreds who were lined up behind us at the starting point. It's not just about speed, but about knowing when to speed!
