Every time we arrived for lunch, breakfast or dinner, the porters laid out hot water and towels for us to clean up

Arequipa 3dias / 2noches

Estas vacaciones de tres días empiezan con un City tour de la ciudad de Arequipa que incluye el Convento de Santa Catalina. El segundo día, disfrute de una excursión a la campiña, con visitas al molino de piedra de Sabandía y a la histórica Mansión del Fundador de Arequipa.

DIA 01:

Recepción y traslado al hotel seleccionado

Pm Recojo en el hotel para iniciar nuestro recorrido con el City tour visitando la Catedral, la Iglesia y Claustros de la Compañía, el Monasterio de Sta. Catalina, Fundo el Fierro, la Plaza de San Francisco, la Ibérica y algunos Centros Comerciales de la ciudad para compras de artesanias.

DIA 02:

Desayuno en el Hotel

9:00 am Salida hacia La Campiña, visitamos Carmen alto, Yanahuara, Paucarpata; seguimos hacia El Molino de Sabandía, un lugar paisajista, tingo Sachaca Mirador y el Pueblo, Puente de Fierro y retorno al hotel

Hiking up the trail

The first night, we stayed above a little village

I almost felt like the Dead Woman when I reached the highest point on the Inca Trail in Peru

This was the busiest campsite ever and it made me really appreciate the solitude we had for the majority of the trek! That said, we had such an amazing view of jungle from our site.

We had a downpour before lunch on day 3 of the Inca Trail. Luckily, during lunch in our lovely dining tent, the weather cleared up and we dried off during the afternoon walk.
