I was under the impression that the porters carried our sleeping bags and mats, and we would just carry day packs. This was not the case, so you can see how big my pack is.

This was the group we hiked with - from L to R, a French couple, a German Couple, and a group of 4 very young French people, Me, Matt. Everyone was very, very nice.
