KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA
After a few years of inaction, I installed a new Li-ion NP-400 battery in my 2005 Konica Minolta DSLR Dynax 5D to replace the dead original one, and I did a small series of pictures with the two KM zoom lenses to re-evaluate the small Sony 6 MP CCD (still not a CMOS) sensor and optics.
The KM Dynax 5D was the latest DSLR body released by Konica Minolta before to be sold to SONY Corp.
Processing of the native RAW files using Lightroom/Luminar 2018.

I talked as animated as the next guy (well, maybe not since the next guy, off camera, was John), but here I'm enjoying a quiet listening moment with Viktor, in a design meeting.

A woman passed out from heat exahustion, police were called, and proceeded to stand around (they actually made the distraught husband of the woman BUY cold water out of the machine to the left).
The boat (which had ample water, ice, and air conditioning) was 30 feet away. I guess the NOPD doesn't bother teaching first-aid.

In a shocking incident, a week ago, two women students were sexually harassed, threatened and assaulted by two outsiders. The incident took place at Godavari bus stop, in broad daylight. Subsequently, common students gathered to nab the culprits. It was due to student pressure that an FIR was filed and the culprits were arrested. .
In JNU, we have always upheld spaces of freedom for women and men. When such an Incident occurs, It is imperative that we remain vigilant in resisting all forms of molestation and harassment. But It is also necessary that we ask questions about campus spaces and attitudes and the rights of women within these spaces. .
When an act of sexual harassment takes place, how do we respond? Shockingly, when these students were being harassed. bystanders took time to intervene. What breeds such apathy in a 'progressive' campus like ours? Such apathy reinforces the structures of patriarchal violence and must be resisted. There is also the issue of how institutional structures should be made to work. Any woman who has faced sexual harassment knows how difficult it is to file an FIR. Also, the accused gets booked on charges of lesser gravity or is let out on bail. In this case also, the culprit is trying .
all means to influence justice and force the withdrawal of the FIR. .
At the present JUncture, it is important that we speak up and speak out. When sexual harassment and violence is perpetrated, then we need to ensure that the campus is safe for women, and forms of redressai are immediately effective. In such a situation, we can never accept regressive arguments which hold that a women herself is responsible' for the harassment she undergoes, since she did not 'conform', did not dress, act or behave in a partfcular way. The struggle for gender equality is a larger struggle in which our campuses must play a part. Simultaneously, we must exam!ne practical measures to ensure the safety of women on campus.
