Walking along our city walls I spotted these three, they just stood there and let me get close for a photo.
The aircraft is not in the row and blinking red. Saturn at top left corner. Pretty nice for merely an iphone😀 Elsewhere in the sky, Mars is nice and bright too.
The fantastic Eivør with her great band and the wonderful Konni Kass from the Faroe Islands - they were so awesom, I had to drive to the second concert in a row... :o)
The Second N Class Loco in a row. The Seymour Line morning peak brings some joy to those who like loco hauled passenger trains.
A fine example of that is N456 heading into Wandong as #8362 from Shepparton.

They are, however. Daffodil Soldiers, all in a row. Waiting to overthrow winter and bring about spring. They herald those wondrous things that return with spring every year, including, but not limited to:
(i) Rose breasted grosbeaks!
(ii) Hummingbirds!
(iii) Cedar waxwings !
(iv) Algernon!!!!!!
All four are back! Yay!
P.S. For those of you who see my Buttery Yellow And Most Ferocious Daffodil Soldiers as white, might I suggest Safari.
I always love to walk passed this row of trees and this morning the light was much better than it has been, of late!

What can I say? ... I have this definite attraction to gray-headed males. :-O Not just my husband either ;-), but I'm referring to the male northern harrier ... aka "the gray ghost".
Ask any of my friends that I shoot with ... I STOP for harriers (even when sometimes they're not as impressed). There's just something so cool about harriers ... maybe it's the way they glide effortlessly with such fluidity as they hunt ... maybe it's those "owl-like" features their faces possess ... maybe it's those amazing eyes. Either way, it's real.
So you can immagine how excited I was to find this one as it just finished up his mouse dinner and was perched on a post cleaning off his beak. He didn't even seem to mind my company. I think he knew how I felt. :-)
Colorado never has a shortage of raptors in the winter, that's for sure. Luckily for me, these harriers are year-round residents. I mean ... is he handsome or what?
Thanks so much for stopping by to view. Hey ... I made it 3 for 3 days in a row! I'm quite happy with myself. Happy Tuesday for sure.

In my 8 days in New Zealand during Easter 19 I had 3 miserable mornings in a row and forecast for the 4th was fog and 100% clouds. Nevertheless I decided to go out for sunrise and headed to Moke Lake. It was pure happiness when the sky exploded!
