Still in the vicinity of The Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club; these Boat Sheds all in a row caught my attention...
I took the photo, but it's not entirely original because I saw a similar shot some months ago (I think) on someone else's Site (You'll know who you are!), and I thought at the time, "Hmm. That looks rather good. I must try that some day!"
So last Thursday was that "some day"...
New Zealand doesn't have too many sets of Sheds like this, so I was quite pleased to stumble across these... A bit of a pity the doors aren't painted in different colours, but: things are what they are I guess! :-)
Oh and don't be fooled by the clear blue sky. Yes, it was sunny, but there was a bitterly cold Southerly breeze blowing which kept the temperature down to a chilly 51F...!
White fungi lined up in a row in the grass, seen in a local grassy area in our park. They looked like little white hats. These were the only white ones, all the others I saw were brown fungi.
Flo only goes outside when the weather is good.
Its the 4th day in a row with a blizzard raging outside.
The old generation of people does not remember bad weather like this at this time of year, the meteorology offices say that they do not have this kind of weather on official record since the 1800s for the month of May.
Farmers' livestock is in danger since many farmers do not have capacity to house all the animals with their young since they have always been depending on normal weather in the end of May.
Birds will lose their nests and eggs under the snow, many have a hard time finding something to eat.
Plants and trees are under risk of getting ruined because of snow and frost.
Flo isn't the only one wishing for blue skies again.

Well, that's it ... Spring has arrived, well maybe not as it is still too cold out there!! However, we have daffodils, crocus and little snowdrops popping up all over the garden!!

Newgale beach, Pembs. I loved the way the people were all standing in a row (hence the title), each one apparently doing his/her own thing.
