Cleveland Indian Austin Kearns makes a move as he peers into the infield Friday, June 24, at AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA.
Kearns was implemented into the Tribes' lineup after starter Shin-Soo Choo was hit in the hand by a pitch. Choo was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday.
Kearns, went 0-4 at the plate with two strikeouts but had a key outfield assist in the eighth inning to nail Pablo Sandoval before reaching second base in the eighth inning 4-3.

Building on the ‘Ecosystem Landscaping to advance the Accountability to implement the Women’s Empowerment Principles in ASEAN’, the WeEmpowerAsia programme, UN women jointly develops and will disseminate the Building Pathways to Gender Equality and Sustainability through the Women's Empowerment Principles: Thailand Policy Brief (hereafter referred as ‘Thailand Policy Brief’) with key partners, namely the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP).
Gender Responsive Procurement (GRP) is one of the initiatives recommended in the Thailand Policy Brief. GRP can identify, incorporate and support women business owners seeking to access government/corporate procurement contracts. In support of the initiative, UN Women and Kenan Foundation Asia will host the “IDEA to I do”, a business presentation competition for selected women entrepreneurs, to showcase the capacity of WOB and WLB developed under WeEmpowerAsia Programme as means to promote women’s participation in supply chain. Winners will receive the WeRise Awards and the prizes are comprised of one winner, one first runner-up and one second runner-up.

In Djibouti, UNEP together with the Ministry of Urbanism, Habitat and Environment and several other partners are reducing the vulnerability to climate change by restoring various types of ecosystems, along with their associated benefits, such as water sources and flood protection. This project is regenerating degraded Acacia woodlands and mangroves, while building infrastructure to combat floods and droughts, including boreholes in dry areas and a dyke in a flood-prone urban zone.

Tharparkar has been hit by severe dry weather and water shortage and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is determined to improve the condition by the implementation of various water projects like community hand pumps, submersible water pump and solar-powered water in this region. Recently, we have installed a new Electrical Submersible Water Pump at Village Jhapio, District Tharparkar. This water project is expected to deliver clean water for drinking and domestic usage to nearly 20 families living in this village.
On 14 May 2019, in Rubavu District continued #BahoNeza Integrated Health Campaign, implemented in joint collaboration the with Ministry of Health and partners working in the field of Health.
The event brought together 1000s of Gataraga sector residents, as well as neighboring sectors.
#BahoNeza campaign will be carried out in various phases including social welfare week, maternal and child health week, RDF citizen outreach activities and information sharing through plays, musical performances, poems and other artistic pieces produced by ArtRwanda - Ubuhanzi artists.

Built in 1930 for the Ryan Implement Co. The building included five upstairs apartments, one for the Ryan family. The building was constructed in a block previously known as "Bottle Row", the lower part of downtown littered with empty beer bottles.
The exhibition showcases the winning pieces from the nationwide student art competition Inspired by Jewish Culture. The competition was first implemented by the School of Fine Arts in Częstochowa in 2004, with the first edition of the project made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Israeli Embassy in Poland and the Poland-Israel Association. The goal of the competition is for young people to create images of Jerusalem as a symbol of human aspirations and show the spirit of Jerusalem that is inside every person. Jerusalem’s unique history and role as an axis mundi was the inspiration for works of art and literature for students from across Poland.
On February 20, 2017; the "Not My President's Day" rally outside the Trump International Hotel and Tower congregated thousands of New Yorkers shoulder to shoulder along Central park West from 61st street to 67th street in Manhattan, on a peaceful demonstration as part of a nationwide series of demonstrations held on President's Day to protest the federal agenda implemented by Donald J. Trump.
This group of images are of the process of harvesting Potatoes. The person driving the blue tractor invited me to climb aboard. I did in awe and fascination as the implements dug up the potatoes and another giant machine picked them up to load the trucks.

Built in 1900 and 1904, these two Sullivanesque-style buildings were designed by Kees and Colburn for the Advance Thresher Company and Emerson-Newton Implement Company, respectively. The six-story Advance Thresher Company Building was built in 1900 and stands at the corner of 3rd Street and Park Avenue, with the Emerson-Newton Implement Company Building being built to the east in 1904, with slightly shorter floor heights and seven floors in total. The buildings both feature a unified cornice, limestone base, and orange brick facades, with near-identical Sullivanesque trim details, with extensive terra cotta trim around the entryways, reliefs flanking the window bays, on the spandrel panels, and forming the pilaster capitals at the tops of the window bays, with a narrow recessed brick panel marking the location where the two buildings join one another. The buildings differ in that the Advance Thresher Company Building features more strictly decorative ornamentation, while parts of the trim on the Emerson-Newton Implement Company Building feature the company’s products on the two cartouches flanking the window bays. The buildings are similar enough to appear as a single structure at first glance, with only subtle hints that the two are, indeed separate buildings. The side and rear of the buildings away from the street features a simple buff brick facade with rectangular window openings and a clearer delineation between the two. The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and today both house commercial office space.
