A mash up of the Autobot logo and my character.
Just made this for fun and I’m not too sure what to make of it now that it’s done. I sort of, kind of like it, but I don’t really feel the accomplishment of completing a piece fully base on my own intellectual property.
What are your thoughts on drawing existing pop culture stuff?
Trying to paint some more, before autumn really starts and it will be raining every day again…

Crimson Cisa x Jade(40cm x 30cm)
I painted this canvas together with my girlfriend. We worked on it simultaneously and I really like how messy and all over the place it came out. We named it; ‘Ik ben een vliegtuig!’, which is Dutch for; ‘I am an aeroplane!’
The past couple of weeks I’ve been feeling pretty restless and stressed-out. My girlfriend suggested I should do more stuff that relaxes me. That meant no more playing Call of Duty or Battlefield until 4 in the morning. So yeah, we painted this together and I think that the end result portrays the chaotic feeling I’ve been having pretty well.
So kids; spread your arms, run around and scream; ‘I AM AN AEROPLANE!’
"Pandora was gifted with curiosity as much as the other attributes given her by the gods. For her the box was a gift, not something to be kept in trust. What business had Zeus to tell her not to open it? Perhaps she'd listened to her brother-in-law's tales of tricking the king of the gods. Perhaps she saw nothing to fear. At the very bottom of the container was the last thing to come out. It was something that wasn't evil. We call the good that Pandora unleashed by the name of hope."
I present you this new sticker design that will be printed next. Unlike the title of this design suggests it’s going to be the smallest sticker I’ve ever printed (wink wink). Only 5,2cm x 5,2cm, that’s really tiny. I got the idea to use this size from my buddy L.ife who recently printed on the same size.
The benefit of these little stickers will be that I’ll be able to hit all the small undercover spots. I can’t wait to get these in, they’ll be so cute! ^_^

Last week I went out to put up this 61cm x 21cm installation. This one is acrylic paint on some kind of plastic.
I suppose that by the time the authorities have figured out who is qualified to climb up there to remove it, the thing will stay up for like 6 months :D
So be wary, Crimson Cisa is watching you!

The new year is well underway and I wanted to try something new. I always liked how linocuts looked, so I thought it would be cool to give it a shot. And this is the end result.
I guess I should do a couple more to try and perfect my technique ;)
I usually don’t like showing my sketches, but I’m feeling generous right now ;)
So here it goes, some quick sketches of a new character that has been running through my head for some time now.
Introducing the villain in Crimson Cisa his world; Dion Valtazar a.k.a. The Killer of Trolls
Dion Valtazar is a little shit. He doesn’t care about anybody. He wipes his behind with the values of society. Kicking a puppy in the groin? Check. Getting wasted on a week day before 12 am? Why not! Peeing on the doorstep of an old lady? He’s not going to piss his pants right!
Rules, systems and order do not apply to him. He spits in the face of the law. The embodiment of chaos and thrill, he roams the world purely for his own good. Only looking out for himself, he is a dangerous individual to the masses. He has no awareness of good and evil. He exists in a vacuum where there is no right and wrong. All that counts is the whim of the moment.
Seemingly being driven by the attempt to destroy all regularity and order, he enjoys being intoxicated by primal chaos. A true tragedy…
He is beyond doubt someone you love to hate.
Yes, four more days left. This Friday is the opening of the annual Homebase expo/store in Rotterdam.
Among many other artworks, some of my framed sketchbook pages will be available for cheap. I guaranty you that, with these pages, you won’t get any closer to the Crimson Cisa source without actually crawling inside my brain haha. If there’s enough interest for these, I’ll make more available for the duration of Homebase 2013.

An impression of the ghetto wall at the Dutch Streets Fair in Amsterdam last weekend. A big shout out to the people that put this together, I’m very happy that I could be part of this.

This was my Halloween costume this year. I already had Calvin's clothes, and I had my good friend Eve Del Cid make me a Hobbes doll based on these instructions. She did an amazing job. Good attention to detail, it's sturdy, and I can't wait to someday give it to my kids to play with.
The day after Thanksgiving, I went out into the woods behind my neighborhood and took some photos of Hobbes & I.

As he awoke Mr. Rat had 20 ideas that made Oliver smile because he wasn't about to do any of them... well maybe number 17 Oliver simply loved flipping drivers the bird. The tasty freeze sign jolted all three into the here and now (no Buddhist priest had ever been this one with the universe) as Oliver was right now. It was times like this he could see Mr. Rat with his everyday eyes. If your were to ask Oliver if Mr rat was a rat he would tell you in that screwed up face of his yes and no. If he could explain it which he cannot he might say “well yes he appears to be a rat but rats can't talk therefore he's not a rat”. He never ever saw Lenny Applebottom and truth be told -- Oliver really never wanted to see anyone called Applebottom what if his butt does look like a fruit. Mr Rat placed his furry face on the glass and started to drool.
Oliver's Dad and Uncle got out of the car Oliver followed respectfully behind for those who had the money honey were privileged indeed, especially if they were buying tasty freeze. As Oliver entered he had to admit that Lenny A. was right that the cherry was special in fact he was going to ask for two of those holy spheres. It was that magic moment: dollars for ice cream... my uncle handed me the gift.
It was delicious. Mr rat likes to curse and and make rude gestures when he is terribly happy well I cannot repeat or explain the sounds and sights projecting from Mr. rat but needless to say he was extremely happy. While distracted by Mr Rat, Lenny ate both cherries but I understood, the temptation was too much.
They were soon finished and we started playing count the cows Oliver had the drivers side while his dad had the passengers. I liked the game but Lenny always left before we started Mr rat had decided that it was the graveyards Lenny A. was probably afraid. The graveyards on your side were the real twist in the game because your opponents cows died they had to start all over. Actually Oliver had to start over twice but in the end he still won 5 to 2 and he was playing against his dad doubly sweet because his dad hated to lose even more than he did. As soon as his dad's tirade was over Lenny A. returned with stories of someplace colorful, with a stinky river. His dad informed Oliver that he was almost home and to get washed up for lunch and if he gave a hint that they were just at the tasty freeze to his mom his hind parts would belong to him. He forced down his lunch actually Mr Rat did the work he was always hungry. Oliver sort of day dreamed. Lenny A. and Oliver were real close at those times like he could read Oliver's mind or something. He told me more about the crayon world and Oliver told how he was secretly scared of the painting in the bathroom. Oliver was back in a jiffy with his dads face inches from his own. Mr Rat must have got excited over moms cooking and used a four letter word. I would be surely sent off to read the dictionary. Well Oliver certainly wasn't going to get punished for something Mr. Rat had done anyway it didn't matter -- Mr. Rat was always hungry and Lenny Applebottom had plenty of stories about full color India and I had plenty of secrets.

A new design for an A6 sticker. I’ll be getting this printed in the near future.
Some fun details;
The planes are actually the Russian Sukhoi T-50 stealth fighters.
The badges on the pouches are Special Forces and oldskool KGB badges.
The Russian text at the bottom is one of the personal mottos of Alexander Suvorov. (I’m not going to translate it. I invite you to do some reading on Suvorov to find out ;) ).
